Agree with you. One wrong move and bang! Big group is shattered!
That's what I like about BB...not easy game to play and Kushal was hopeless in it!

Agreed. When people keep saying that Gauhar lost out on the game thanks to Kushal, IDK why they keep forgetting that Gauhar was in the game THANKS to him in the first place. All the friends she had made by herself- Andy and Sangram were not her loyalists. They may not have taken her name to send her to Hell but they did not take her name either when it came to saving someone.

Kushal was her only support and he brought the likes of Shilpa and Apporva to her side and Shilpaji toh of course had a far wider reach which made the whole group bigger.

I feel, being sent to the Hell side and meeting Kushal in the first week really helped out Gauhar rather than spoil her game.

Even if Apurva was really evicted and let's say one more person from the group, Prats/Elli was eliminated that saturday, they would've still had 5 against 2 as opposed to pretty much everyone going on TanMan's side.

In the alternative, they should've nominated prats because she was constantly being nominated and really had no loyal supporters accept for Kamya who probably wouldn't have cared. However, b/c of her popularity she would not get eliminated and would be sent to Caravan. She also would not have been able to go back and join TanMan b/c she had bitched incessantly about Tanisha that Saturday.

Kushal/Gauhar made a really stupid move by being swayed with emotions.

I agree that Kushal was not a smart player, rather the contrary. But one redeeming quality of his was his loyalty towards Shilpa, Appurva and Gauhar.

In fact, I was surprised by how thick Shilpa, Appu and Kushal actually were- from the way they spoke about each other in their exit interviews- much more than what was apparent in the house.

Regarding Kushal being swayed with emotions- I completely agree. From the epi and the LF, we see Kushal having a conversation with Appu, telling him that Shilpa made him promise to look after Appu and to ensure he does not have to leave the house under any circumstances except the normal elimination process. Appu who was unhappy with re-election of the nominations at that time also relented as soon as he heard of Shilpas demand.

And to be honest, they werent actually sure of the consequences of the nomination. Though they were sure that a strong person like Andy would be sent to the Caravan, a weaker contestant like Appu/ Prats etc COULD be sent home.

Ah, in a way you are right. They played stupidly because they were emotional and not strategists.

She was in the game because she was smart enough to latch on to Kushal right from the beginning. As we can see, Gauhar is not stupid. She saw that all the jannat people were against her and she figured she would make strong bonding with someone who already had a strong group, and Kushal came in the picture. I agree that meeting Kushal helped her, but then she got TOO attached instead of keeping her mind focused in the game, and started to sacrifice other relationships in the process.
Andy was always a strong supporter and never once took her name for nominations and Andy DID take Gauhar's name to save her (I am pretty sure he said Gauhar and Sangram). Had she been a little smarter and not supported the decision to nominate Andy she would've been in a much better position.

But no yaar! Andy did not vote to save her during those particular nominations. He saved Shilpa and Sangram. Not Gauhar. And even when Andy was nominated for eviction, she did not actually give her vote to him. See, it was basically between Andy and Appu. Appu was close to Kushal while Andy was close to Gauhar. Kushal being the Captain had the final say and he of course chose Appu over Andy.

As for the fact that she got too attached to Kushal- but then isnt that a redeeming quality? Almost all HMs here have ONE other person who they are utmost loyal to irrespective of small fights/ misunderstandings. Like Kamya and Pratyusha. Armaan and Tanisha. Andy and Sangram and Elli. Ditto for Gauhar and Kushal. How bad a person would she have come across if she stopped taking Kushals side only if it was in her interests as a player?

Isnt it better that she stopped caring about a game, but rather cared more for a person?

And honestly, I dont know why people make her out to be some kind of a player. I have never really seen any strategy from her TBH. Cant say the same for other contestants. Gauhars only problem is, she is too much of a loud mouth and has this self righteous air about herself that she can do no wrong. If only she curtailed these, she would come across as a better and more humble person.
