If only Kushaal had used his mind two weeks ago during the nomination process, the tides would've been turned, and GPAK would not have been the target of this week's nomination. Especially since Kushaal was pretty confident that whoever was nominated would not be evicted but rather just go to the Caravan, he could've done so much better by just thinking. Any logical person (Kamya or Gauhar) would've evaluated the reasons.
1. Andy who was Gauhar's strongest supporter BEFORE he was nominated by Kushaal turned against him and the whole group. In my opinion, Andy was smart enough to instigate Kushaal (since he'd been wanting to throw Kushaal out since the first day), and he was successful.
2. Besides, Andy had a strong following with Sangram and because Elli and Sangram have this bond already, Andy could've brought both of them to join forces with who-so-ever's side he was on. It was evident from the beginning that Elli was not a favorite with Kamya and the only way she would've switched over to their group would be because of Andy/Sangram.
3. Apurva clearly didn't care what happened and would've not turned all hostile like Andy just because he got nominated for direct eviction (to the caravan). They would've still kept their forces strong. With Andy on the other side AND Kushaal & Apurva gone, they lost three of their votes (five if you count Elli and Sangram).
4. Considering that Armaan and especially Tanisha have been so manipulative from the start Kushal should've sensed that while Apurva would not switch sides, Andy so easily would be talked into switching over to them (Armaan stood up for Andy as soon he got the opportunity) and with him would go Sangram/Elli.
5. Finally, if Kushaal knew that Andy was just going to the caravan, he should've sensed that Andy would most likely be able to convince his Caravan buddies to pick his side since he was in isolation with them and would have that personal bonding. Having Apurva go to Caravan instead and having him bring the WC entries on his side would've worked out even better for their "gang."
Moral of the story: Kushal is out because of his own doing, and I guess because of lack of Gauhar's usual Kushal manipulation in that nomination process.
