Why is OP giving this incident a india vs bangladesh / how india discriminates against 'lesser countries' flavor ? Why is he/she bringing nationalities into this if this whole issue has nothing to do with nationalities of the bullies and the bullied ? Is there any proof that asif was discriminated against and isolated because of his nationality ? THERE IS NONE ! I'm just calling out the bullshit here because I'm frankly getting sick of this "racism" allegation with regards to this incident.

This will ultimately become a discussion of nationality because some Bengali's are upset with the way Asif was treated... I'm not saying he was treated that way for his nationality at all but if you look at the picture as a whole, nationality will come in between because he was bullied in an Indian Reality Show as a Bangladeshi... It's a topic that will come up... And he got bullied for his language barrier which was apparent and an indirect case of mocking for Bengali's as many d them don't know Hindi well... I have Bengali friends and they were disappointed... Yeah a lot of racism goes on in India which I agree to but for, I don't believe this was a case of racism at all...

Yes, every country does have idiots. It's about how we tackle those idiots that matters. If we go on defending our idiots just to save face, it looks rather inappropriate. A reality show is supposed to be idiocy to an extent but there is a line even they should not cross. If the Kartrashians mistreated a foreign minority, there will be reprimands from the channel. That's the point.

P.S. Silverbug. Bengali is a language, Bangladeshi is not. While Bengali can be used to designate Tagore who was born in Calcutta, Bangladeshi is the correct term for people of Bangladesh. So, I was not using the terms interchangeably. You got confused because I was also talking about the language at the same time. Bengalis and Bangladeshis both speak Bengali/Bangla.

Also, it does not matter how many incidents of anti-Indian rhetoric you can find. That is outside the scope of this forum and show. This show is Indian, so the Indian part came up. This is the occasion to air frustration against all other injustices against India. As I said, it is not a nationalist post, it is a reprimand against inmates in the Bigg Boss house and how they are reflecting a small, but bad thread of Bollywood.
