And lastly, washing hands after touching "Najees" things is laughable.. I believe the strict Muslims clean themselves by doing prayers if they touch "najees" things, not just by washing hands...

If you are not mulim than please refrain your self from posting any such comment .. as the way i guess you dont even know the meaning of Naajis...

Islamic law, najis () are things or persons regarded as ritually unclean. According to Islam, there are two kinds of najis: the essential najis which cannot be cleaned and the unessential najis which become najis while in contact with another najis.

Muslims are allowed to keep dogs only for hunting, guarding livestocks and crops, andfor the security of home.. and with all due respect to your cousins if they are keeping otherwise as their pet than it is their own preference and choice and it has nothing to do with Islam as many muslim do practice the same .. keeping dog is not haram in Islam but keeping it as a pet is not allowed.. I dont know about Gauhar and her personal dog ... however, I request everyone not to bring Islam here in this topic especially when you are not aware about our relegious practices .. when we are respecting other relegions we expect the same from others too..

Regards,

I'm sorry to say but u r taking it in a wrong direction, I made it clear before that I did not intend to bring religion here, it was just something I thought made Gauhar stay away from the animal.

But you did bring religion into the topic, hence it is not me who took it in wrong direction.. I only commented over your own assertion..

STRICT Muslims also do not allow the dog to enter their house, where else all other pets are welcome. So please u too do not drag something that was not meant at all.

And Gauhar touched the dog, so that's even more proof that her washing her hands had nothing to do with Islam or her thinking it to be "Najees"... You brought that up, you implied it.. I merely commented on it.. so please don't say I took it in wrong direction..

What's your point??? Tell me what I have said is wrong... If anyone brings religion into the picture, and I feel the reasoning is flawed, I will comment on it.. In this case, religion was a stupid reasoning so I commented on it.. Nothing I said is wrong..

My point was about branding all Muslims the same.. khoobsoorat said that if Gauhar washed her hands after touching dog, it must be because she thinks it is "Najees".. I think that was very stupid reasoning because if she thought like that, she wouldn't touch dog in first place.. I only gave example of my cousins and aunt to stop these stupid stereotypes of how you expect all Muslims should act and behave..

I dont know about Gauhar and her personal dog ... however, I request everyone not to bring Islam here in this topic especially when you are not aware about our relegious practices .. when we are respecting other relegions we expect the same from others too..

So why are you tell me this?? Tell "khoobsoorat"... I didn't bring religion into this topic.. she did...

You are somebody who tries to drag religion to such an extent that it leads to a fight & I have no intention to fight with you...Secondly u r no one to judge my knowledge of Islam or any other religion as you urself have hardly any knowledge.

I'm only pissed because you keep blaming me for bringing in religion when it was you who brought religion into this topic.. And frankly, I couldn't care less about anyone's "knowledge" of Islam or any other religion... Just don't pointlessly bring it in next time..
