Nothing wrong. I started liking shilpa after she delivered that epic dialogue -- "Agar kissi ne mere hasbund ko ..." So shilpa Rocks. ⭐️

But lets consider another viewpoint. They both are sweet couple but this is a game show. If Armaan has pushed Appu, then let Appu handle the situation on his own. If someone else is taking a stand for him, it does portray appu as a weak contestant. 🤔 Appu needs to fight his own battles. !

Anyway, to appreciate the bonding and love between shilpa and Appu, all I can say is "Jai Baba" . 😎

Being possessive is fine but she's behaving like a body guard and the funniest part is Appu doesn't mind it hence Salman asked him how do u feel. There was nothing wrong in it, and anyway they've been married for over a decade so they need to stop behaving like lovebirds too. It's sick. By now love reaches a different level but these are still in college days.

Seriously, Protectiveness has nothing to do with Gender or Age. It totally depends on the nature of a person.

In fact it makes Appurva a strong person that he is balanced enough to adjust with his wife and not to be a chauvinist.

But unfortunately Salman is a chauvinist himself so he cannot understand it.

I find it kind of sweet that Shilpa defends him without caring about society infused Gender Roles.

And she is self-realized enough to know that protectiveness comes from her nature and not situational.

I dont like her much in BB but today she won my heart.

Do you think any other woman in the house is self-realized enough to know when the conflict comes from outside of herself and when from inside?

i agreed
shilpa likes to stand up for her husband for things that matter like supposed violence
i don't know if arman pushed apu or not but salman said he didn't
on the other hand tanisha is trying to create an arguement for arman for 2 eggs
and then she has the cheek to lie and say she doesn't speak in arman's behalf

she seems so possessive and over defensive, kinda like SRK's character in Darr.. give him some space and stop freaking out 24/7
she used to run to defend his honor even when there was no need..

Okay, we're talking gender roles again?? 😕

If Appu was doing to Shilpa what Shilpa was doing to Appu, we'd be screaming spousal abuse. Being protective is one thing, smothering is something else. And Shilpa smothers Appu. Do we even know what Appu is really like as a person? Nope. He looks sorted for now coz Shilpa did all the talking for him, herself and all the other voices inside her hyperactive head. She's like the 'Helicopter Mom'. Google the term. She hovers all over him, speaking for him, crying for him, ranting and raving for him and I guess even eating for him.
Suppose there was a gay couple in the house. The one who'd be the sort Shilpa is, would go around protecting his partner and we'd be calling the other partner sissy and twenty other names. Tab gender tel lene jaata kya? (Appu ishtyle 😉 ) It's not being protective, it's smothering. Shilpa's kinda of protectiveness is an obsession. Her kind will not let the other person open his wings and fly. I guess Appu doesn't seem to mind here coz it's a game. I doubt he lets her run over him like this in everyday life. If he does...well...Abuse!! Abuse!! 😲 He seemed sorted till Shilpa was there. Let us see how he unfolds now. Is he the same man who Shilpa claimed could mooh nocho Armaan or is he the silent sorted type who doesn't go for drama unlike his hyperactive wife. let's wait and watch.

I totally agree with you and thats why I used the term 'conflict'. What she is doing is not natural and she knows it that its due to her own nature and did not throw blame on anyone. She could had said that it was Arman's fault or he is aggressive so anybody can be suspicious blah blah ...

We are watching BB for so many seasons and most of the time people blame others for their own weaknesses. At least she had the guts to admit that she is over-protective due to absence of a father figure in her life.

And yeah it will be interesting to watch Apporva now.

Shilpa's animated antics did provide a comical relief in the house. However her reactions are bit borderline histrionics. Whether it was the time she saw Apurva get his hair cut 🤔 or Apurva confronting anybody. There is nothing wrong in wife defending husband and neither does that make a man look weak however Shilpas's attitude prevents Apurva's personality from coming in forefront.

A wife or husband...they should always stand for each other. But Shilpa over reacted and completely unnecessary. Common Apoorva is not brutalised and she could have shown her concern in a calm manner or any other better means.

This couple is well prepared for this show. Shilpa is giving tips to apoorva when she was nominated and apoorva who is intelligent enough to know it will go on record warned her to be quite but still Shilpa went on to say she is giving "tips". They must have planned that any matter related to apoorva she has to make chaos or atleast show what a lovey dovey couple who stand for each other.

Her hysteric behaviour is suspicious and she did that for content as it didn't look much natural to me.
