What is wrong with Shilpa fighting for her husband?

I am not denying that she exaggerates a lot, but there is no harm in watching someone like her.

How does that reflect badly on her husband?! As per that logic tanisha always defends Armaan. Doesn't that make Armaan appear weak?

Maybe I am looking at it differently, but I am glad Shilpa doesn't appear to be the "I-am-so-weak-protect-me-type'. She is loud and overdoes it, but at least she is not playing the vulnerable card.

I think it makes Apoorva appear a sissy. She acts like she is defending a baby. Its not only Salman. I am a silent reader of the DDT and Live Feed and many, if not most, members seemed to find Apu a sissy due to his wife's overbearing protectiveness.

issue is not about standing up for husband.

Issue is her shrill shrieks,"Agar mere husband ko haath lagaya toh main MUNH TOD DOONGI...MUNH TOD DOONGI..." kinds!😊

Obviously, it lands the man concerned in an embarrassing situation, more so when Salman emphatically states,"Maine Chaar baar clip dekhi...Armaan ne Apurva ko kaheen bhi dhakka naheen diya..."!

Shilpa needs to tone it down a bit! Apu is a pretty sorted guy...he can handle such little incidents on his own!

Yeah, but it reflects so badly on men. We expect men to defend their wife, but when the wife does it we call the man a sissy?! 😕

What perfect answer she gave?😲

She admitted she had lost her father when she was very young and perhaps loss of father makes her extra possessive and apprehensive about husband's well being and safety!

Its more of an explanation for one's exaggerated way of handling simple situations!

If someone accidentally push a man's wife and he responds with a "Meri biwi haath lagaya toh tera mooh tor dunga.." and generally behave as Shilpa does with Appu, then I will pity the woman as she has no say in the marriage and has an awfully loud and unnecessarily violent husband. Its not a gender issue at all... Its the issue of mollycoddling sorted adults who can speak for themselves in an overdramatic way.

When a younger sister fights for her older sister, the older sister is no more seen as a leader; she's seen as a pussy!

Agreed. She overdoes it. I think I am the only one that likes it, because she looks really amusing when goes crazy to defend him.
