Hypthetical situation

ever travelled by public transport? when a man jeers at you.."Chikni Chameli" with those lusty looks..let me know how you felt!..oh yeah and no one is around to hear that...

lets assume u feel bad, so u retort...now he says to you "tumhare kapde utar dunga"... remember there are people who can hear you being insulted but they wont interfere..

think over it..and let me know..how it wud feel if it were to happen in real life..

Regarding the women abuse..that woman was hanging out hand in hand with him the very next day.😕

Now, imagine this...the other scene above happened rt in front of you...in a bus lets say..??

When this is happening, wud u speak up?? or wud u wait for another day to ride the same bus, hope to see the man and the woman..and wait till u see if they are holding hands or not..if not only then will you react??

Now next scenario, they are holding hands...and lets assume someone did react to the abuse on the prior day...and you enjoyed the entire thing because it wasn't a big deal for you..

now try and imagine..if that person does see, everything sorted out between the grl and boy..wud the person's feeling change just because they are holding hands?

I am not saying that Armaan was right in saying kapde faad deta hun and all but Elli SHOULD have taken a stand if she felt so insulted. Sorry, I have no sympathy for girls who don't open up their mouth at the spot if something's wrong and go n cry n bitch in the bathrooms and then after sometime start acting normal around the very same person who 'abused' them.

It is very easy to say why women dont stand up ( not talking of Eli here) but giving you a real perspective...

You dont speak up because you dont want situation to get worse...at the end of the day...its your body that is at risk..no matter what whoever says..no human wants to get hurt..

so, women in general try to keep themselves calm, avoid confrontation to avoid 'worse' things..

If Arman was sending out a wrong message (AS IF ANYBODY LEARNS ANYTHING FROM TV-TYPICAL KHAP PANCHAYAT MENTALITY), so was Elli. If after watching Armaan, rich spoilt kids will think that they will have their anywhere, after watching Elli, girls will learn not to raise their voice against any crime and just cry in a corner. So don't just single out Armaan over there. And he did apologize. I am not trying to justify him but both of them were at fault. And if both Armaan and Elli are happy now, why are you zabardasti making it an issue.

Well, they can stop watching the show for one. Infact they should stop watching TV at all. And films too. Anything and everything can corrupt those pure minds of theirs.

The billion dollar question is, do you have a model that can predict who is gullible when???? even the best of the women are gullible when divorced, or going through a heart break..and this one is the most simplistic example available

You don't like Armaan. Your choice. Don't vote for him. I don't like him as well. He's loud and crass and classless. But I don't support such so-called 'jag bhalaai aandolans'.
