Hello fellow BB7ians!
Although I try very hard not to be judgmental, there are certain things that are so obvious to me (regarding some cast members), that I find it hard to believe that rest of the cast hasn't been able to call those people out on their shit yet (excuse my language). The cast member's characteristics definitely started to make a peep show after three weeks of the show's premiere. So, I decided to finally spill my 2 cents on how I feel about the cast of BB7. I hope you guys will share your POVs, as well.
Tanishaa: I think we can all agree that her eyes and ears are definitely on the money and fame (as it should be since it is, after all, a game show). But I am starting to disagree with a lot of her reasoning for her actions. I believe Tanishaa is putting up a faade. She tries to be this "mahan", neutral person who stands by right and not wrong; but I think we can all see through it. I don't know if you guys watch the "uncensored" videos posted up on the colors website. But there was this one video of her and Armaan "gossiping". Tanishaa reveals to Armaan that Asif (who watched the show prior to coming on the show) said that Khusal- Gauahar angle has been increasing the TRPs of the show, as well as Andy-Sangram "love"/"friendship" angle. MIRACOUSLY, after that reveal, we see Tanishaa and Armaan getting a bit cosy in today's episode. It's all a show, according to me. Tanishaa and Armaan, obviously wants to get higher ratings, so I think they are faking this "romance/closeness". What are your takes on this? Do you think it's real?
Armaan: FAKE. I'm sorry, but not that sorry. I know there are cast members who claim that Armaan is misunderstood. But your actions can only be misleading maybe once... not ALL the time. He is very disrespectful to girls. He is a liar. I cannot sense any good characteristics in him (if you can, please let me know). He is only here to win, not make friends. He is two-faced (he lies to people in front of their face ALL the time). He is a coward - creating havoc and then apologizing right away because he is scared of confrontations. He is pretending this crap love fest with Tanishaa only for ratings. He needs to relax his hormones.
Anita: Boring. Sorry. Not much really to say about her. She is a liar face, just like Armaan. She is quite foolish for trusting Armaan. I actually feel really bad for her since she blindly trusts Armaan and thinks he has her back, when he doesn't. She is most likely going to leave in tomorrow's (today's --- depending on where you live) episode. Or rather, I think she should. At least then she can see Armaan's true nature.
Sangram: Not really that innocent. He is continuously lying in order to be in both groups (or however many groups are created in the house). He doesn't want to be put into one specific group, to save himself from confronting other groups. There is something shady about him. I think he is giving off an "innocent" vibe, but there is something definitely going on in his mind, in regards to this "game". At the same time, he is a nice guy... at heart, I guess. But I don't where I stand with him.
Ratan: She seems nice. Can't tell if she is putting up a front or not. But I took a liking to her since she made the "your very judgmental" comment to Kamya. She has the balls to speak her mind as we saw with Andy. She is playing the "game" safe, as she is not creating that much havoc or creating unnecessary ruckus. She is just sliding by. Smart. She seems to be understanding and well behaved. So far, I like her. I have nothing bad to say about her.
Gauahar: She seems nice as well. She is honest. She embodies "today's" girl, I think. In that, we like to voice our opinion, whether we are asked for it or not. She probably shouldn't have singled out Armaan the first day. She tried making a point, but it clearly backfired on her a little bit. I don't have a problem with her, yet. Her mentality is, if you think it - speak it; which is necessary sometimes. She definitely DOES NOT have a romantic relationship with Khusal. It's quite apparent that what they have is a friendship, at most. She def. does not see Khusal in a romantic kind of way. However, she will not deny the rumors about the romantic relationship out right since romance gets ratings (C'mon we're all a sucker for romance... Tanisha and Armaan figured that out). After seeing today's episode, I think Gauahar now realizes that she has "control" over Khusal... and Asif.
Khusal: I had a neutral POV towards him in the beginning of BB7. Then after a few episodes, I thought he was quite arrogant. I mean... seriously you want "sunglasses" to look good, because you are an actor? Okay. Sure buddy. I actually agree with Armaan, that he only said that comment about Armaan to Salman Khan to "woo" Gauahar. I think he started this whole flirting thing, in the beginning, as a "time-pass". But now, I think he is starting to get possessive towards G. His face whenever Asif and G talk gives it all out. I'm not saying he is in love with G, but his "alpha" male side def comes out whenever Asif is around. I think he feels a little insecure with Asif, maybe.
Asif: LOL. His broken hindi is hilarious. He is funny, but weak. He is trying desperately to create a love triangle, but K-G isn't giving that option a thought. He is honest, from what is seems (or maybe he is playing a game?). But certain cast members are definitely playing him. I do hope to see some more of him, just to figure him out more. He is trying way too hard with G.
Elli: I LOVE HER. She is so cute, but she def. needs to be more active in the tasks, so that she can go to "Jannat". Nothing bad to say about her. She seems loyal and honest. I agreed with her when she made that comment that because she is a foreigner, Armaan said those comments. Be real, Pratyusha. If she was a "Hindustani" girl, no actor would have the guts to say disgusting things like that, regardless of if the comment was a joke or not. These guys think because a girl is a "foreigner", and because they are open-minded and friendly, that it is okay to say such things. News flash, "foreigners" have self-respect as well. "Ripping clothes in exchange for a slap" is NOT a joke, and should never be considered a joke.
Apurva: A man of very few words. He seems loyal. He sticks to his words. He is definitely playing the game safe. He won't call people out on their shit because he wants to remain in the "Safe" zone. He seems like a nice guy, though. Never seen him disrespect anyone... yet.
Shilpa: Paranoid as f**k. She needs to relax. Her diplomatic and know-it-all voice annoy the shit out of me. She needs to relax, I repeat. She is also trying to be everyone's friend so that she can be in the "Safe" zone, which clearly worked for her.
Kamya: Hi Honey. This is not an Ekta drama... stop plotting and planning. It's a "reality tv/game show". She seems honest and upfront about her feelings, which I do respect in a person. But her planning, plotting and paranoia also bugs me. I can't hate her because she has been honest since the first day. She doesn't do the whole two-face drama that many cowards of this show resort to, so I appreciate her for that.
Pratyusha: Did someone say follower? She is Kamya's tail, from what it seems like. Kamya tells her to jump. She responds, how high. She is also very paranoid and thinks they whole world is out there to attack her and her decisions. She seems loyal to her friends, which is great. But she is an instigator when she is bored. She needs drama. Eh. Not really her fan. Waiting to see her nice/kinder/relaxed side. I think she is too arrogant. I understand you think you're a "successful" actress, but let me be the first to say you are not. You might be popular, but not successful. You have got quite a long way to go, in order to be successful. But hang in there.
Andy: In the beginning, he seemed way too dramatic. But now, I just cant help but love him. He is the only person being himself. He is hilarious. He is honest but tries to be diplomatic to save his butt. He speaks his mind, which I appreciate. He brings life and humor to the show. Can't wait to see more of him. He is not afraid to say it like it is (well actually, he was afraid, but now that he sees everyone's "true" cliques, he will not be so afraid anymore to speak his mind).
Wow. I didn't realize I would write this much, but hey... a girl needs to vent.
BTW. I know there are fans here of the above mentioned cast members. If i have somehow offended you (I DOUBT that I have, but if i did, don't take it to heart. This is just my perspective. I would love to read your perspectives of the cast!)
Enjoy.
