The truth is...it is in our basic nature to contradict ourselves and maintain double standards without being consciously aware of it.

We're all right in our own ways. No one was brought up the same way and neither did we all go through similar experiences in life which contribute to the kind of mentality we each possess.

Let's stop getting at each other's throat about this and move on!👍🏼

PS. Isn't it interesting how the atmosphere of the forum is directly proportional to the atmosphere in the BB house? At least the inmates are much more forgiving than us IF people. We hold onto grudges and taunt ridicule at every given opportunity. Kind of ashamed to be honest.🤢

That's for your sensible post.😊

Yes but it's only a certain known faces, who are ready to give that concession to Ellie but not to Aarman and pits, as if Arman represents all men of the universe, that's the nature of generalization, by some specific group of members.

Well,@ cruiser has explained his response to your footnote (PS) perfectly, I agree to that.

BUT as simple as that , in bikini yoga incident, it was Armaan and Pratysha who steered conversation in wrong direction, which was absolutely not necessary. In second incident, it was more like a goof up on Elli's side that others were trying pull her legs.

All of them are normal like people we see around in real life. And at times, even Salman also cracks those vulgar jokes with contestants.

Andy Gauhar event it ended in leg pulling and due to Ellie receiving the comment much more lightly.

Arman Pratyusha event, we started watching from leg pulling, But Ellie reacted extreme with a even lighter joke, and then Arman lost control of his brain I guess. So it all went wrong after that. Pratyusha hardly had time to control the situation in the face of a 40 yo man and a western girl considered to be much more apt in handling such jokes/situations.

@ BLUE: I guess you just delivered it in the wrong place, because you didn't read the post and if you read, you didn't digest it well.

I'm the TM of Andy AT and I'm actually putting his head in the firing line. Because it's not about supporting a contestant, it's a different issue.

yes in both the situation they were joking with elli but the incidences can't be termed as the same...Armaan did a mistake of crossing the level of decency by giving out a very controversial statement while Andy never did it...n i think even if Elli would have said to Andy "main tumhe thappad mar dungi" he would have taken it more sportingly n appologise instantly rather than being so rude.n yes he did appologise later but only after he had done so much unnecessary damages which could have been prevented in first place 😡

Thanks GG for your post. Very rightly said and that's why they are two different individuals. Your post justifies the comments made by @MissCherrie on individuality. Similarly, Probably another girl in place of Ellie would have handled the situation in a much better way. That's why it's wrong to generalize human behavior.

But now everybody knows that it was a goof up and while Salman was just pulling his leg, he uttered in a particular situation. Now, are you going to dissect and analyze every bit of what he said? Let's move on.

Absolutely spot on. Thanks for your comments.😊

Like i said before , people here were going way OTT with that Armaan-Elli issue, just because Elli took the "Joke " seriously & said " i'll slap you " (maybe that happened because of Armaan's tone/way of speaking that time)

Here , Elli didnt reacted in that manner so probably no one took notice of this incident , but that was a terrible comment by Andy 🥱

Thanks a lot buddy, for your thoughts 😊

That's how these kind of jokes are, you never know which will go well and which won't. Every person is different and they have different tolerance level and trigger words/thoughts/tone. Just like Kamiya reacts being called a bechari, some would take it as a reason to smile while doing a hard work. 😆 We can't generalize men or women.

Like some feminists would always want that all women should support her in whatever cause she thinks is important for women, they forget, before being a woman, she is a human and she has her own free will and wisdom to judge things. Same is the error when they generalize all men too quickly.

I join you and it has been so sensible from all so far and I hope there will be many more. After all, I do believe, mainstream is always sensible, extremists views are always in minority. 😊
