Elli avram just in the promo of her movie has wore bikini, and done things which we as audiences term as to be done by "B grade actresses".And if you check a video of her in delhi here she performed live on stage.Ppl have tagged that video as "po*n".And mind you it was a live performance.
A girl can walk down the street naked and even then it does not give any guy, regardless of his age, any right to make ANY kind of sexual remarks about her or her body. So, instead of using Elli's background as evidence to support Pratyusha, I suggest you consider that thought for a second. Even aside from the show, this mentality right there is why girls get raped, so I reaaally wish you would think twice before saying things like that on a public forum. "Kapdey phaadooonga", "pappi le loonga", "chammak challo", "put on a bikini and do yoga" are all offensive things to say. If two people know each other and are comfortable with such exchanges, all is well, but if a girl is getting offended, it is NOT okay to make such cheap comments.
Coming to the show, I don't think Elli handled the situation properly. She played along when the comments were being made, instead of showing that felt disrespected and offended by Armaan's comments. Armaan misbehaved with her afterwards as well. In all of this, I did not like what Pratyusha said to Elli. Even if Pratyusha thought Elli was overreacting - you don't tell a girl who feels disrespected and hurt that it's her fault such comments were made to her in the first place. I don't care if Elli said this for the camera but she made one really good point - Armaan would not dare say such things to a desi girl on the show for fear of his reputation. Words like izzat are reserved for desi girls in our culture and a lot of time desi men treat foreign girls like trash, thinking they are "easy". I HATE that mentality. I'm not saying everyone does it, but you see it a lot more often than you would think.
Coming back to Pratyusha, there is something about that girl that is so off-putting. She has gotten into arguments with a lot of different people, and I have never felt like I agree with her. I think she provokes and instigates people, and I think she plays dirty games. She wants to stay in Kamya and Armaan's good books so she will continue supporting them no matter what.
