Why targetting Pratyusha so much? *DT Note - pg 29*

Okay before you throw chappals and tomatoes on me pls let me make my stand clear. It has only been a week and this forum has totally been against Pratyusha.I u/stand ppl have their respective views and I respect them.I even admit she has been wrong at some places.Whether those were intentional or just stupid mistakes I don't know.But still I doubt she has done anything so wrong to be bashed so much and be called disgusting cheap etc etc.

I wont say anything about the other three issues coz I never thought she was wrong there.When Pratyusha said that one of her reasons of her confidence is her fans support Gauhar mocked her by hiding a smile.She was ought to get miffed.Next the Andy issue. Just because some people think that Satya Sai baba is fraud or something doesnt mean making fun of her belief was right.Andy was wrong there and so he rightly apologized and Pratyusha took it in a very positive way.

Now coming to the issue of Elli, I dont say I support Armaan in any way but blaming Pratyusha as cheap and disgusting bcoz she didnt stop Armaan is beyond my understanding.When the chat between the three started everything was friendly and in a funny tone. Now for Pratyusha she knows Elli and Armaan equally...that is since 7 days.What all she saw was that Elli was being all smiley. Now the point is that these celebrities are not like us common girls.For them talking abt "physical" stuff in a funny tone is not a big deal.I am sure Pratyusha does it with her friends and I would die laughing if you would say Elli doesn't do with her friends.

I request ppl to go and once check the promo of Elli evram's first movie and see the way a "girl" has been portrayed in the movie.And Elli has happily done that. Its strange Elli doesnt has any problem in "women" being potrayed as objects of sex but she has issue here. Doesn't that sound like double standards?

Elli avram just in the promo of her movie has wore bikini, and done things which we as audiences term as to be done by "B grade actresses".And if you check a video of her in delhi here she performed live on stage.Ppl have tagged that video as "po*n".And mind you it was a live performance.

The point I want to make is that if Elli has the audacity to do such stuff on TV why cant the girl defend herself.If she can have the guts to wear an "almost bikini" dress in a live performance then why cant she have the guts to say "shut up" to armaan.Why is pratyusha expected to intervene when she has a fair idea that the girl in context has all the ability to defend herself in case she feels offended. Thats what Pratyusha said to Salman."If Elli had a problem she shud have drawn a line herself"

Last but not the least even Kamya supported the view that Elli over-reacted but ppl dont call Kamya as "cheap" "disgusting".Double standards ehh...? Its strange we are talking of respecting women and we are saying same stuff for another woman without knowing the context in which she thinks that "elli over-reacted" I am sorry but I dont support the view.

Concludingly, Pratyusha could have done much.She could have picked a fight with Armaan.Could have asked him to shut up. But one fine day probably Armaan and Elli wud have hugged and made up and Elli wont any longer be that offended and Pratyusha would have to bear the brunt...well why shud she be so stupid?Afterall its a game!

Did you really dig dirt on Elli so that you can justify Pratyusha...Probably it would have been better idea to stick to good qualities of Pratyusha..nahin?

Regarding pratyusha .Anyone who is shown part of any kind of fight/incident is being discussed to ends...for all the incidents you described she was participant ..And ofcourse if there are incidents there will be opinions .

@viewer - I am not digging durt at Elli.It is common to wear a bikini on tv...nothing like digging dirt if someone wears it. What all I am trying to say is that Elli aint someone who cant defend herself.She is bold enough to take a stand for herself.But thats not the way she showed herself.She didnt say a word to armaan even when she realized what armaan did was wrong.She just cried. Then why do ppl expect Pratyusha or anyone else to intervene? What all I wanna say is that Ms avram is all equipped to defend herself and make a stand for herself.

PS - If I would have said some good qualities of P would it really affect ur opinion abt her...I doubt!

I just meant the part u mentioned about delhi ...neways let be...I reserve my opinion on all contestants till one month ...So far I just try to understand their nature based on how they react to an incident. I don't expect pratyusha to intervene and speak to armaan on anyone's behalf ,not needed .

But the comment on upar se niche dekhna ..and later the explanation in support of armaan being elder was bit lame..It would hv been better if she had not intervened at all ..

If Pratyusha is not expected to speak up for Elli than she has no right to speak up for Armaan. She should alo have not participated and encouraged this lewd behavior. Above all she had no righ to blame Elli either.

@bold - That I surely agree.And actually that was my point of making the post.We shud atleast give them some time.😊 Ppl have formed a very bad opinion abt Pratyusha bcoz of the Elli incident which I dont think is right.She shud be given the benefit of doubt that she didn't have an idea that Elli would be so hurt.JMO

I wonder how the same person would have reacted if anyone had dug out dirt on Pratyusha. Her closet is filled with skeletons. But that's how few roll, they simply target others so their favorites shine through. Perfect example is this thread.
