Not just Kushal but a lot of people in India and this world are very wary and judgmental with the notions of homosexuality. You think people from the LGBT community do not face such situations in everyday life? I just shared a couple of page back, how I used to see my Prof being threatened and humiliated. This is a fact of life and they as well as we (their supporters) are used to it. We can only hope to change attitudes over time. And honestly when ypou see a Rajev Paul abusing Imam without any provocation or the kind of reaction Kushal had towards Andy - people don't realize how misplaced and out of sync such reactions are? Andy and Imam in their ways are doing their bit to get their community a voice and stature.
