Mandy's family lives in Iran, even her pictures found with her friends online were from Iran. In India she just got her BF and maybe some friends, but those friends are probably not close enough to pay her a visit. Apart from that, in previous episodes she's been heard telling Rochelle and Priya about her difficult youth and struggles in life.

Just because the room is not packed with her friends doesn't mean she's a vile person in real life. I'm in my mid twenties and I only got 2 friends, a mother and a sister in life. Literally. And I've lived in Europe for 20 years. Does that make a weak human being? Nope, I just don't trust people easily enough and don't make friends easy either.
