"Suyyash's entry to the Bigg Boss house with girlfriend, Kishwer Merchant was termed to be one of the pivotal factors for the show's success, courtesy the history of the show's previous seasons, where real life couples have managed to garner good content.
Where Kishwer's personna came across as very dominant and powerful, Suyyash's image became the apparent opposite, leading to his elimination this week. However, after a long stay of 84 days, the actor shares his journey with us..
So Suyyash, how was your journey on the show?
The journey was a life-changing experience. It has shown me an absolutely different angle of life altogether. All the deeds that I did in the house.. from cleaning each and every part of the house to cooking, I have started respecting everything so much, especially the people who do all these chores. My gratitude and respect goes out to them.
You were alleged for not having your stand and following Kishwer in everything. What is your take on it?
I know it has been portrayed that Kishwer is more dominant. However, what you see on the screen is a 45 minute footage of a 24 hour day, where the highlights, fights and all other actions are shown according to the minds of the makers. For eg- In the task where Mandana kicked Kishwer, Kishwer was fumed and she also threw her microphone away telling us to continue the task. It was me and Prince, who decided to take Mandana's mattress and clothes and throw it in the garden as a revenge towards her, which we realised later was stupid. But it had nothing to do with Kishwer and she wasn't even aware about it. Hence, I can understand the perspective, however, that's not the case.
Who do you think is a fake player in the game currently?
I can say it with no qualms, that Rishabh and Mandana are the most fake people on the show. I am saying this openly, as Mandana's PR (public relations) person, Dale Bhagwagar, told me openly that you will regret not choosing me as your PR and I recently came to know that he is handling Mandana's PR. I could easily understand why is Mandana being what she is. There have been flashes of her being 'human', but soon she would realise its a show and she has to be what she is asked to be.
And Rishabh too, is trying to portray something he isn't, which becomes so annoying. Prince and I had also mentioned, that had it been Splitsvilla, we would have beaten him up the second day he entered. But because, it was a show which did not allow violence, we controlled ourselves.
Which were your best and worst moments in the house?
The best moment for me was when we, (Kishwer and I) were about to enter the Bigg Bouse house and we shared the same stage with Salman Khan and even my exit, where we had some hearty moments.
The worst moment would be when I crossed the line and shouted at Mandana, saying stuff, which I shouldn't have said. That is certainly not me and it just came out in the heat of the moment, but I certainly regret that.
Apart from your obvious rapport with Prince, Rochelle and Keith, whom would you like to be friends with, outside the house? And whom would you not want to keep in touch with?
I don't think there is anyone I would ignore outside the house and not be in contact with. It would be stupid to carry a grudge from inside to outside, which you know is not the real world. So, I would like to be in contact with everyone, however can't promise the same from the opposite person.
You and Kishwer once mentioned on the show about getting married in February. Do you see that happening right now with Kishwer still in the show?
I don't see it happening in February as she is still in the show and I root for her to win it. But it will surely happen this year.
What about your career plans ahead?
I will continue working on television and I am looking forward to work on a daily soap which is stable and sorted. I would love to do films also, as and when anything great comes across. The main motive for me is to take my singing career to another level, as I want to launch another album this year and am planning to meet T Series for it, which should be huge.
Concluding, any special message for the fans?
All I want to say is a big 'Thank You' to all my fans and everyone who has tweeted and messaged me. I am now reading every message and am overwhelmed with it and I apologise for not being able to make it to the finals and not fulfilling the expectations. I know there are some haters too and to them I would like to say, Sorry, I couldn't entertain you enough and will surely do when I get a chance."
