I worked as a PR agent before getting married so I know how it works. While I admit that it can't be said with 100% confidence but fact is that there is a very good possibility that he's using a PR agent. The four accounts on twitter that were tweeting tons to make his hashtags trend above everything else, the absolutely enormous difference in his votes on number 1, and the votes of Pritam on number 2, are clear signs that something is out of joint.

He might have been on top without cheating, but right now a lot of things indicate that he is.

Which is fine really. having a PR agent to pull this stuff for you is underhanded, but as much as I dislike Gullu baba, this is a smart move.

I'm not denying that GG doesnt have a PR, he may have one just like the rest of the HMs.

But like you said, one cannot be 100% confident that all the trending is happening because of just his PR.

Also the 4 accounts that you mentioned could also very well be crazy obsessed fans of GG's for all u know. Just because someone is spending all their time tweeting/retweeting day in and day out, we cannot arrive at the assumption that they are PR.

I guess I'm not surprised and am not questioning the trending only because each and everyone of my friends/neighbours who I've spoken to are all supporting GG (yeah, I admit my neighbourhood is not the world but just a cross-section, so a disclaimer here) so I'm making an assumption that he indeed does have a huge fanbase.
