Where is the 'insulting family' discussion coming from?

What the heck is wrong with people's logic here ??...How is just mentioning the word "family" or saying someone's name equal to getting personal and going on their family???

Someone can be blamed for going personal and talking about the other person's family IF they say something derogatory about their family or family member or pass comments on them. Just becoz they mention the word "family" or "father" or "mother" it does not mean they are getting personal.

----All Gautam told Ali was that you are representing your family here so be careful of how you present yourself. ---Its not derogatory towards his family so how is that getting personal ??? 😕

-----Gautam as far as we know just took Pritam's wife's name but did not say anything about her. If he says anything about her then its def wrong but assuming he does not then how is this derogatory towards his wife??? Just taking her name is not equal to insulting her.

------Karishma told Rahul that being a politicians son he is not setting a good example--Again just becoz she mentioned his father does not mean she is trying to insult his father.

Same with Gautam mentioning that Dimpy's dad is a lawyer.

Sometimes while talking people say such things as a point of reference to explain their POV. If someone tells me "you come from an educated family and should behave well" should I start shouting at them for insulting my family. 😕 . how does that even make sense logically? 😒

Salman made fun of Ali's "mummy kasam" and said he checks on Ali's mom every week to make sure she is ok. Its obviously a joke made on Ali and not his mom. But just coz Salman mentioned his mom are people going to blame Salman for getting personal and involving Ali's family??

Seriously where has the logic and common sense gone??

So they both probably used some abusive words so it had to be beeped .

isn't that what we learn since childhood? if you do good things your parents will look good, you should behave politely because in end you represent your family... ppl just need a reason to bash Gautam its simple as that..and fighting with him give you nothing but content so thats what they want. 😊

Gautam just sit alone as he was truly hurt and they have problem in that... he talks and they have problem in that 🥱

Yeah its sort of like one of those moral value type lessons you are always taught. "Behave well in public as you are representing ur family."

Its a very normal thing to say, nothing derogatory at all.

The problem with GG is he is the favourite to win and therefore the most relevant person game wise. In any field of life, when your on top it's natural for others to put you down. As your the person to beat the (top dog). If GG wasn't a strong contender his comments wouldn't be scrutinised microscopically each day. His every word, action or even presence will be judged.

Ali, Dimpy - Not favourite to win, so they both can do and say anything without really being bashed by anyone here.

Both KT AND GG get bashed here the most (competitivity between fans).

I find the whole bash GG to prove KT is good and bash KT to prove GG is good, childish.

They both have their faults and have to be appreciated or criticized based on their actions. Yes ppl can have favorites and defend their favs but simply pulling down another contestant without an ounce of logic or sense is just a little too stupid.

Let's take GG comment in a more perspective manner and with logic. Even though his analogy was WRONG and should've be avoided.

He raised the question to Pritam, to prove a point, without having any intention to hurt or insult his wife. He merely raised a question how would he react in that situation? He wanted to make him realise Ali's comment really hurt him and was way below the belt...How can you defend Ali and the same time say Sonali was RIGHT for slapping him (Ali) as the same word was used. Why different rule, just because he is a Guy?

GG said to ALI, does it reflect well on your family, to degrade someone on national TV and especially the comments being used (beep beep). How would his unwell mum react seeing Ali being rude, obnoxious and makeing a fool of himself. Ali is the one who stated, that he as a unwell mother who he takes care of most of the time. The irony is ALI always "swears on his mums life at the most trivial things". Truth be told Ali hasn't conducted himself well on national TV. How would his mum must've felt seeing her son getting slapped on TV and touching a girl under duvet cover? 35 yrs old guy acting like a total jerk.

We ourselves as society, always say how would you react if this happened to your mum, wife or sister (maybe eve teasing) and drive home the point as a social message. Does the person raising this question become personal? NO

We as society always say to the perpetrators/misbehaving individuals, how does your action reflect on your family? Does that mean the person who raised the question becomes personal? No

We in society always compare star/famous sons with their famous or highly respectable father? Flop star etc..Are we not hypocritical?

GG and KT fans tend to bash each others favourite contestant unnecessarily over trivial matter. We all want our favourites to win at any cost, so right or wrong becomes irrelevant and we lose the moral ability to think logically. We become so blind to defend our favourites at any cost, to the dediment of right course of action.
