He is proving that he is a massive hypocrite who doesn't take a second before dragging someone's family member into a conversation.

Pritam said that gautam is over acting bcz of his crying and what ali say is a daily thing. So by taking his wife name and only the name, pritam got all explosive angry. Wasn't pritam over acting now bcz all gautam did was took her name. But when ali calls him gay prostitute and what not, gautam's reaction was not justified and he was doing drama. Personal personal hota hai chahay khud pe comment karo ya uski family pe. And here gautam did not even passed any bad comments. Just showed pritam mirror.

Telling a person something will not affect him if he is strong, but telling something about their wife/mother will infuriate anyone, and by anyone I mean anyone.

Praneet took lot of shit in the house from Puneet but when Puneet passed a comment about Praneet's GF the latter did get angry.

There is no sense anyone can derive from what Gautam was speaking in the Precap, he wanted pritam to realize his guilt over not taking stand on Gautam, but why does Gautam needs others to stand for him?, the way Pritam lashed Gautam alone is what should be done, Gautam needs a third person to come and support him because his back bone is too weak to take a stand.

Apparently Gautam almost cries after Pritam lashes even though the former started the stupid argument.

If Gautam was trying to prove that anyone will get provoked if their family is involved, almost every housemate knows this, no-one questioned Gautam about why did he get provoked, it was Gautam crying about why didn't anyone take a stand for him, maybe we should cal Papa Punz to take a stand for him.
