TOI is not much better than the tabloids. If I were to read this piece of news in "The Hindu", "The Telegraph", or "Indian Express" - I'd look upon the news item with some credibility. But then again, these newspapers will not concern themselves with matters as ridiculous as Gautam Gulati or Bigg Boss.

And so - the point is - that because TOI publishes something written by a journalism intern, too sloshed in Gulati-fandom to do any background research, it certainly does not become the truth. 😳

The claims of the article are false. How the events of this week affected the TRPs is still not known. 😳 😳

Yup I was watching Ind-Aus match😭 .. it was close match and though Aus won but India fought well in the end .. only if batsmen did some more runs , things would hv been different 😒

And reality check, ma'am...the mention of smooch by Ali happened in WEEK 2 of Halla Bol. How will it impact ANY TRPs of the previous week...is totally beyond me. 😳 Simple logic!

U r conveniently forgetting what happened on Week 1 Friday episode when even Farah in WKW told Ali that during fight why did u come so close to Gautam .. were u trying to smooch him ... only after that in Week 2 ,Ali-Gautam smooch fights started .. so I was only saying the trigger point to smooch thing was week 1 .. simple logic 😆😳

Why are you dragging in happenings of week 2 in the TRPs of week 1 just to give credit to Gulati... I Can't understand!

I saw the opposite in forum /... week 1 trp credit was given to week 2 UpMa showmance 😆

And I did not base my earlier post on hearsay or opinions of others about who brought in the TRPs. I only pointed out big FACTUAL ERRORS in your post related to tying the errors in the article to the TRPs. And the errors still stand. 😉

Pritam just made it in top 5 ORMAX too and I did see celebrations in forum for it .. noone questioned the sample data .. wonder why 🤔😕 ... Anyways like I said , I believe in ORMAX ratings and its my POV .,. neither I m forcing u to believe it nor u can force me not to believe it .. every poll result follows a sample size because one can never take whole India population into consideration always .. Sample size more or less does give an idea of a contestant's popularity not just this yr but every yr ,..

What Gulati did in BB 8 is history. The fact is Halla Bol has seen a significant increase in numbers, when everyone was expecting the opposite. It can't be tied to one contestant because he never pulled in these numbers (a TRP of 3) when he was touted to be the star. NOT rocket science, you see.

Yes it cant b tied to one contestant ..everyone hv their respective contributions .. as Gautam fan I will highlight his positives .. u r free to highlight the positives of your fav too due to which u believe it got 3 ... lets agree to disagree .. simple logic again ..

Again I disagree that TOI articles r written by young interns or fandoms ... do u know someone called Ram Kamal Mukherjee .. he used to write for TOI and now moved to stardust for sometime now .. got lots of journalism awards and is my paternal side uncle too .,.. TOI has got some of the best journos out there ... yes yellow journalism is not always credible , I m not denying that but if Gautam can manage to turn even journalists into his fans who r always writing about him , then thats his credit something rest dint manage to achieve yet ..

About trps of this week , yes I m not denying that they can go high than 3 too .. all I m saying is which week started the upward trend of trps , that needs to b seen too .. once it starts rising , every week the number automatically goes up out of curiosity unless the week is total disaster ..
