Girlfriend says Upen Patel was hot tempered
Upen Patel's love affair with model Shamita Singha has ended in a nasty way.
Upen Patel and Shamita had been together for more than a year. Initially, things were hunky dory between them, but the ensuing months revealed another side of Upen to Shamita.
Shamita has told a Mumbai-based tabloid that Upen used to have sudden mood swings and had no control over his temper. In fact, there were instances in their relationship when Upen threw angry fits on Shamita in presence of her sister or close friend.
On one occasion, Shamita's sister even told her that she "don't need to take that s..t from him".
Shamita is quoted as saying that by December last year she had taken enough insults from Upen and decided to break up with him and move on.
But moving on was difficult for Upen.
As we reported two days back, Upen had a showdown with Shamita when she was at a dinner party with her friends in Bandra earlier this week.
Upen walked in, had a heated argument with Shamita, took her glass of wine and splashed it on her face, insulting her openly in public.
Despite Upen's rude behaviour, Shamita still empathizes with him and feels that "he needs serious help."
