Di interveneded because Gautam called Di and asked her if she feels he is fake to her because that was the accusation on Gautam ..

a girl in such case is best to know if the guy with whom she is withs is actually faking it or not ..

Gautam was smart there to directly call Di and get facts out of horse's mouth in his defence ..

thats what u do in courtroom . u provide proofs and witnesses to fight the accusation on u ..
