Just like Gautam he also really is a hero. But some of the actions he takes under the influence of the BG have ruined his game and that guy doesn't even realize it. He keeps wondering where he's going wrong.

I really like him when he's with Pritam. I wish he had stuck to him instead.

I would tend to agree with your assessment. He might have thought of himself as smart and cunning but he wasn't - he is a straight-forward if somewhat boring person.

And I think disregarding the jokes about his tehzeeb and taaleem that people have made... generally he's well-spoken and has good (somewhat old-fashioned but what's wrong with that) manners...

I think all the hawa went out of him after Puneet entered the house. His main plan of being the elder-brother like figure in the BB house was thrown out... The mirchi task and the repercussions from it affected his future in the BB too.

Once he gave up on that and was himself... he was just a normal person.. Given to occasional bouts of inexplicable behavior (ranging from child-like to OTT aggressive) but it was never mean-spirited.

Gautam said dil mein kuchh naheen hai... Arya could say the same thing...
