Okay just finished the episode. Pundit aka shakuni aka mamma aka Praneet is the most smart contestant. He has had two major fights with Gautam and in both he has won. He was logical, he was right, he got support from house mates and on forum.
However the smartest thing he has done is following
Pundit know 2 things
1- He is getting nominated and
2- Gautam is being supported by public (which is fake in my opinion but pundit getting that impression for Salman Khan)
Now what he has done is following
Pundit has started to drift away from P3G crap. I dont think so his heart is in it. Pritam, Puneet Sir, Gautam are trying to include him but he wants to be neutral. Unfortunately the group on the other side (except Ali and Upen) did not entertain him much so it seems he is in P3G but he is in fact a neutral now.
He is truly sick of Gautam's negativity and this is where he has played the game. He has shown himself as positive and someone who does not want to fight others just for sake of it. He made that point shouting again and again showing okay I am not negative like you. I can lead by example. Stop making issue of little things. If you dont like try to do work instead of doing burai. This message has appealed to housemates and audience and hence Gautam due to pundit is now seen as a negative character who is always after other gang and sometimes needlessly
The impression that he was some victim is gone now. In fact his own supporter pundi has exposed him and that is why Gautam was telling Puneet Sir to control him

In summary, he realized that gautam is being promoted and he is using p3g crap. Therefore he was bold enough to distance himself and attack gautam and expose gautam
