Both were going non-stop at each other. Gautam was talking over Di and DI kept talking over Gautam. I dont think Gautam even heard the sentence fully. Am guessing he just picked that word and thought that she is referencing them as "retarded" when she actually said "I'm not retarded to do..."

To me, as of now, it seems to be a misunderstanding. But it will become clear in tomorrow's episode.

of course ...a lie!! He just wants to instigate his group and show that they are always wronged and the victims of abuse...😆 ...self-righteous idiot!!

But since he has a pea-sized brain (proof: the last task where he was making the building inside the box 😆)...it could be a misunderstanding!
