and my anohter thory is, may be BB is using reverse psychology..they are spreading this news so that gautam fans(majority) got riled up and vote him non stop and protest and fight ... which will be again a big boost for trps

Main point is arya may b shown as hero bt in reality viewers are not seeing him as hero...yesterday also he says tht he dont want to make puneet evict bt bahar akele mein camera ke saamne he wanted justice...so i m sure BB had to show somethng drastic
