Why Gautam annd Pritam never took stand aginst violence today?

Today's episode was quite entertaining and centered around Puneet and Arya. However, you honorable members of the Anti-Gautum (and Pritam in this case) Council of Indian Forums can not resist trying to create and thereafter exploit some wrong doing of Gautum. In today's episode, what Puneet did was wrong. I do not think anyone in the house disagreed with that (however, it certainly wasn't worth an eviction, in my humble opinion). No one, except Arya, created a ruckus about the matter. So now should be go blame all the contestants for not yelling at the top of their lungs that an injustice has occurred in the house? Surely not. It is not Gautum's or Pritam's job to let contestants know what the ramifications for their actions are. That is Bigg Boss' job and they have been handling it quite decently.

I can offer you some career advice from this post: Don't be a statistician. You create a poll with 4 options, all of which are a variation of one perspective on the topic, and then use it in your argument just because about 40 (out of several thousand India-Forums members) have voted.

Well, since everyone here is commenting about this issue, I thought why not add my own 2 cents.

So far interpreting Gautam's behaviour, he believes Puneet to be like his father-figure so he obviously respects him a lot. Because of his immense respect and loyalty towards Puneet, he did not even take stands for himself when Puneet back-stabbed him. So why will he stand for someone else?

It wasn't like he was actively trying to defend Puneet. He did agree to any decision that Big Boss made.

I am assuming his POV was: yeh physically demanding task hai to isse khelne mein chot lag jati hai

Also, Aariya did run to the confession room screaming as soon as (or maybe some time after - I do not know since I only watch the epi), so when do you expect Gautam to side with him? or whould he take a stand when the bedroom gang was trying to brainwash Aariya?

It was also the other team's fault since they tried to stop the whel when they should have tried to break the building. The tried to use thier force and got hurt as a consequence. I'm am sure that all the guys were in the adrenaline rush during the task.

Another thing I want to highlight is that the bedroom gang did not seem to be so impacted by this. They did not seem to take a stand because thier fellow group member was hurt but instead they wanted to use this opportunity to break the group. (I firmly believe that P3G understood this.)

For those who are (blind or not so blind) haters of Gautam, I only have one question for you: How may times have you gone against your dear frined (Gautam still believes that Puneet is his dear friend even after everything) to side with a person who has always misunderstood, taunted, and ostracized you? (assuming that your firend is wrong)

Sorry for my long ramblings.

P.S. I hope you know well that this is a very bias pole. Most of GG fans know that he is no saint, but we support him because he is an honest and good human who has been misunderstood tas well as ostracized time and gain.

P.P.S. If Gautam would have sided with Aariya, I am sure all the GG haters would have found some fault in that too. Perhaps called him double-faced, double-dholki, or somehting equally as bad.
