In today's episode, Salman called Ali..."Coolie"...

This was first started by me here on IF. Do you think, BB team, and Salman's script write read our forums!!

I don't get the reference of Ali being a coolie though?

If they do read stuffs on this forum, then the first thing Salman needs to ask Sonali " are you on drugs ?"

I thought Ali's last name was QULI which is pronounced like "Coolie"

Quli / coolie is middle name...and no one usually calls anyone by middle name...unless, he wants to be humorous or funny or something like that!!

As far as I know, His name is Ali Quli Mirza but he goes by Ali Quli as a screen name. Salman sometimes refers to Gautam as "Gulati" and Karishma as "Tanna"... So calling someone by their first name, last name, middle name, etc isn't disrespectful... They are all part of your name.

Absolutely...no doubt about it. Last two seasons were more evident with this following and copying our terminology in IF
