Why is this forum making a touching issue an issue of abuse, rape?

Lets say Ali tried to be friendly with her and touched her and she said dont touch me as I dont want it. This means he does not have the consent to touch her. He must have been wishful thinking that okay she wont mind. Maybe he thought she is okay with others touching so I can as well and she wont mind. Maybe he was flirting. Whatever it was the context was this person touching and after that knowing that other person is not happy. Consent here is related to touching

What I am not getting is how the heck is this related to sex, abuse, rape, and consent associated with physical intimacy. Have we gone mad?

Touching happens all the time. In task, in flirting, in bed. Do we connect it to serious issues?

Lets stick to the point and remain in your limits. One goon here is telling me I respect camels more than women. And mods are sleeping as usual.

it depends on ur mentality simple...
some are saying if gautam nd upen can..y cant ali touch her(now dnt say esa kab bola)...
so no..its not done..ali's action can not be judged on the basis of how sonali is nd whom she allows to touch or not...
it was like chance marna...unko kuch nai bola..muje bi nai bolegi..karo touch...bt thats not ok..
if she is not comfortable...he should not do it..

i dont care...

what is bothering me is some trying to connect this incident to rape, abuse sexual assault and consent issue there. in fact all he did was touched her without her permission. fine he was wrong.

i m not going into issue of who touches here when and where...if i go there then we all know what sonali is doing.
