One thing that I am noticing is how every word when used in Hindi and by a man are becoming an issue inside and outside the house.

It works both ways. Pritam was not leering or sexually harassing anyone. All he said was maal, meaning a beautiful girl to him. It such common place language that I don't think it was offensive. If it was said to a a girl and she found it inappropriate then he should respect that. It's not case here.

I was laughing when he was talking about that.

Even as women we term men with certain words, codes, so what is wrong with men doing same thing.

It is no reflective of anything in my opinion other than that he comes from an area where this term was commonplace.


So far, I have found him to be the most balanced and repsectful man in the house.

And the people you associate with might not say maal per say, but I'm pretty sure the words they use could be found offensive by another group of girls. It would be naivety to assume men don't ever use such langue for women. It could be sexy, bomb, hottie , or whatever it is.

And what about the language you are using ? Is it normal to call someone a pig for u ?

Please don't use woman power again.. Woman are not weak n to get offended with such words unless they have a low mentality..

Language/slangs are pretty geographical so their interpretation of being acceptable or not should also be judged on that basis.

Even though Bitch in North America is used as casually as to call out to your girl friends in a playful manner.
