lets say guy says in english - the girl is damn hot its taken as a compliment ...however its direct translation in hindi would be ladki bahut garam hai which by all means is damn insulting instead to convey the msg its said ladki maal hai which means same but soundsbetter ...and even girls say it these days to guys or to other girl...stop the fake naari shakti nonsense by objecting to useless things.

I don't associate with people that would ever use such language. I've only seen people in movies use it and they're usually the villain or some cheap, creepy, low-life type people.

okay first of all Arya was right there when Pritam called his ex a Maal, n he even said, " ye woh maal hai jo door se dekha aur pyaar kiya jata hai" Second of all, i dont know why we all act like saints, when we all use words that maybe offensive and not appropriate!! PLEASe EVERYONE MUST HAVE AT LEAST IN THEIR LIVES! Thirdly, yess a lot of BB contestants have been using words that are offensive and potentially causing conflict but they have cameras around them 24/7! if words are slipped n not meant intentionally dont REFLECT so much on it. And cmon its probally how guys talk! Ladies dont act like we dont use words taht are offensive when we talk about men individually! BTW IM A WOMAN! Language/slangs are pretty geographical so their interpretation of being acceptable or not should also be judged on that basis.
