Shilpa had the fans votes so why does she have a problem with Vivian or Rajat getting bhar bhar ke votes. If she won due to her fans then so can others, i found her very hypocritical. Also, yes i do think tht she was fixed as well because she used to roam around saying mein hi jeetoungi, it used to piss Hina off. She was also never bashed as much as others even though she mocked and tortured contestants, every wkv Sallu would come and say Shilpa you look so beautiful, your skin is so milky blah blah blah, even though shes average looking Imo and dressed horribly. She got away with alot and was favoured by the makers.
I am not saying Vivian-Rajat having fan votes is a problem. Just trying to bring the fact to the table here ki she was not a free loader but actually popular unlike what was said in the comment I quoted.
Although, what the media was trying to bring in yesterdays episode was ki SS in her season organically grew a fanbase (again as I mentioned in my earlier comment, due to public sympathy and because Hina losing her popularity due to some of her comments). People knew SS because of her character from BGPH and because of her removal from the show. And although her character was loved, she was not as big as Hina, but still won a huge fanbase during BB because some people found her antics funny, gave her sympathy for feud with channel and because Hina was losing popularity.
In recent seasons, BB bringing in contestants with pre-existing fanbases takes away chances of other contestants who actually contribute to the show, and it’s no more a show that judges personalities. BB16 Stan is the biggest example. People already have a built in mindset for the contestants they are fans of and will justify the lack of contribution/any type of wrong behaviour blindly, and won’t judge the individual based on his personality in the show.
There are also instances of these influencers working as corporations instead of individuals. Recently, I saw some video where Elvish, where he was doing vote appeal for Rajat, and telling his followers that they can win iphone, etc etc through some link or whatever. Basically selling themselves, and like a cult through social media, brainwashing kids to support their friends. Elvish specially does that. For example recently how he instigated his followers to go full ruthless against some youtubers for a certain feud, and as a result his fans went on to morph photos of one of the girls and spread cheap comments and give r@** threats to her. At this point I can’t even call them fans, this is more like a cult, and BB by bringing in people like these are indirectly glorifying their acts.
