See thats where my opinion doesn't match with yours. I don't like those personalities who do things that are supposed to do in a reality show in order to look strong and promising. I prefer those who stick to their own self and doesn't change themselves inorder to be called strong. I loved ankit when he was in the show. yes he got evicted unfairly but he stood up to his beliefs and doesn't change himself inorder to shine in the show. That was his USP that he didn't change even after the criticism . I am not saying those are wrong who wish to win this season hence act in the way that they know would be appreciated by the audience of this particular reality show. It's very easy to watch previous seasons and learn how to take stands and get involved In fights. Shiv and pcc are two of the biggest examples of contestants who act according to requirement of a winner and it's fine as at the end of the day it's a show that is made to gain ratings and contestants who would behave In a way that create drama would be considered star player . But my opinion is different I like those who shows their true side and stick to their real self even after getting criticism.
Correct, that’s your opinion, I respect that, but my point is that this is not BB’s opinion. The game is designed for certain type of personalities where Sumbul clearly does not fit. That is why BB continuously taunts characters like Sumbul or Ankit. So all I am saying is your definition of the game is not matching BB’s because this is their concept where characters like Ankit or Sumbul don’t stand out, and not just about something to do with society and all. People loved Ankit Gupta but BB did not, as he would have survived the outside voting but they ousted him based on internal votes, so no, its not just about shouting, Ankit is a clear example. People genuinely liked him, even though he never shouted, because of his genuine personality. For Sumbul her personality did not stand out for the audience, as it came across as just cribbing which I dont blame her for, its also her age, parr she is in adults show and will have to deal with judgement.
So to summarise,
1. BB is a game with a set concept. I am again pointing this out because you mentioned in one of your comments earlier that you disagree the show is about showing their strong sides. In fact it is all about that because BB advertises that kind of personality a lot. They literally ask people to be more vocal, half their promos are cut around people fighting, abusing and all that, they never promote the quiet ones, at least other than Simba Nagpal I have not seen them do that for anybody (and for him too it is clear they did that because he was supposed to be the lead of Nagin)
2. Its not true that only those people who shout win or are liked. Ankit was liked a lot this season, Dipika won in her season over Sreesanth. Its not about shouting, its about taking right stands, ab thats on the contestants ki wo shout karke lena chahte hain wo stand ya shanti se. People loved Abdu too this season yaar, wo bhi kahan chillata tha, usko to aadhi cheezein hi nhi samajh aa rahi thi, fir bhi people loved him ki nhi?
3. Last point, coming to Sumbul, her problem is she has no stand of her own. She cries, fine, what else do I expect of a 19 year old in that mad house? Parr her not having any stand makes her situation worse because people will ask what she is doing in the house other than crying then? In Shalin-Tina thing she should have taken a stand but she cried through it. In Sajid mocking situation she should have taken a stand but she cried through it. In tiniest of scenarios she cries but does not act upon it. Consider it this way, in my professional life, I make a lot of fu** ups but just crying on it is not going to solve anything right? I’ll have to act upon things, learn from my mistakes and stand up for myself in case I feel wronged, otherwise there won’t be any opportunities to grow for me. Same thing BB expects the contestants also to do in the game.
