I can count good Indian webseries on fingers. Pataal Lok , Asur, Scam 1992 , Delhi Crime worked but those webseries had class actors. Those who work hard on scripts doesn't choose actors from BB .

p.s: not saying priyanka isn't a good actress . Haven't watched udaariyaan. I am judging ekta for choosing an actor from a reality show lol

tv actors moving to web is a great jump for them and even a leap of fate, cause there are a lot of prejudices if they even try to venture in movies which is sad cause look at western or eastern asia industries, actors are all involved in any medium. In India tv actors are looked bad. I think that tv can have a chance if they start to produce limited episodes shows, so that actors are motivated to pick more projects. If you notice actors that were involved in 2+ years tvshows either try for web or move to music videos that pay very well. About the hype, it's just like a bubble that will burst in few months or till next season. It's upon them to pick good projects to keep riding the popularity and stay relevant in the industry. I personally like web shows cause are shorter and some stories are great, especially SonyLiv ones.

I had to pay double the attention to understand what Abdu was saying but yeah I got it now..Abdu was talking about that tatti wala incident and Sumbul's uncle talked about the punchline..I dunno if I saw the punch line wala episode but I know Sajid and Stan had discussed about saving Sumbul because she can cook..Nimrit defended herself as expected and yeah I understand what she's saying.. but still ..she should've stopped Sajid and the rest..anyway.. did they any of this on Sajid's face?

Plus OTT is a great way to earn bucks in a short time, daily soaps jaisa daily 15-18 hours commit nahi karne padte, that too for years.

And its known that daily soaps ke heroines hardly get a chance to lead more than 1-2 shows on the popular channels (only the extremely popular ones are repeated).

But the kinda hype daily soaps give webseries of Indian makers can't. I agree webseries are still better than daily soaps but webseries can't give an actor a hype that a good tv show can. Tv has wider range. Harshad Chopra, Jennifer winget, karan singh Grover , Barun sobti, Shanaya Many more rose to fame from tv. I know standard of tv shows has gone really down these days and webseries offers better scripts and margin of performance. Webseries is a good choice for those who are more focussed towards acting than popularity. Those actors who prefers quality and works on better scripts but if it's about getting popularity then tv is a better choice.
