Agreed, but actors can easily switch from Web series to daily soaps but the inverse is very difficult. So, it's fine to take that opportunity and try making some inroads/connections. Nahi hua toh you can come back to TV within months.

Ulte case mein if you are already working on a daily soap and want to try a web series, you'll have to leave your show (which in turn will cause bad rep etc) and if that show survives well without you then your hype is reduced and you are considered replacable.

tv actors moving to web is a great jump for them and even a leap of fate, cause there are a lot of prejudices if they even try to venture in movies which is sad cause look at western or eastern asia industries, actors are all involved in any medium. In India tv actors are looked bad. I think that tv can have a chance if they start to produce limited episodes shows, so that actors are motivated to pick more projects. If you notice actors that were involved in 2+ years tvshows either try for web or move to music videos that pay very well. About the hype, it's just like a bubble that will burst in few months or till next season. It's upon them to pick good projects to keep riding the popularity and stay relevant in the industry. I personally like web shows cause are shorter and some stories are great, especially SonyLiv ones.

I would love if our tv producers start making finite series and atleast start writing character based good scripts. Right now tv shows, Indian webseries and even Bollywood movies seem running out of scripts.

Webseries>>> tv shows as it gives actor a whole picture. Finite series definitely give more clarity to actors about their characters but my problem is with quality of content. It's digital world and viewers have many choices . If Indian makers won't give good content viewers will shift to other shows of other countries. This is the reason Pak dramas and Korean dramas are gaining huge popularity in India .
