Yes, tv shows are also a joke when it comes to script in India . Tbvh I even don't watch Indian webseries. Apart from broken but beautiful I hadn't heard of any good webseries from ekta . So many tv actors are doing webseries these days and how many of us watch those webseries? Indian makers lack when it comes to give quality content . I prefer Korean, American and even Pak shows over Indian these days.

I can count good Indian webseries on fingers. Pataal Lok , Asur, Scam 1992 , Delhi Crime worked but those webseries had class actors. Those who work hard on scripts doesn't choose actors from BB .

p.s: not saying priyanka isn't a good actress . Haven't watched udaariyaan. I am judging ekta for choosing an actor from a reality show lol

It's more about getting an entry on that platform. Getting an 'in' makes a lot of difference, fir wo Ekta ka hi show kyu na ho.

Plus OTT is a great way to earn bucks in a short time, daily soaps jaisa daily 15-18 hours commit nahi karne padte, that too for years.

And its known that daily soaps ke heroines hardly get a chance to lead more than 1-2 shows on the popular channels (only the extremely popular ones are repeated).

Very simple logic. Most of the people have already decided who they are going to support this season so every good action of their favourite will be glorified and every questionable move of a non favourite contestant will be criticized.
