This is the problem though this season - grey matter ki collective kami hain. He is being an idiot, I agree. Even if you are the type of guy that's going to overreact and act like some Kabir Singh lite on a peck when you're not even actually together, the last thing you should be doing is revealing that mindset. If you're a real life Kabir Singh or an over board or toned down version, that's your choice..
