BB did the right to invite her father and to tell her where she is going wrong and how people are using her. From the starting Archana, Shiv etc were asking her to behave normal and don't be Tina side. But this girl wasn't listening and she knows that she was developing a love angle with Shaleen.

Shaleen and Tina really thought that they can take advantage of this girl and she let them. Also her father dude duniya hi dikhani hai toh college bhejo waha pata chalega how to behave with others naki TV show mei participate karao.

Third, the love angle and shalin past ... Shaleen is an abusive mam who has beaten his wife and he has got abusive personality. Any father or parents would be cautious regarding this.

The reason is Sumbul needs to understand that there is a life where she doesn't have to act like imlie but a real girl. She needs to understand whom she has to talk and how much distance she needs to maintain from shalin and other male.

Her parents were separated when she was small and she has a young sis which lives with her only. However, she is not in touch with her mom after her father got the custody.

I never called her innocent. I called her irrational.

It looks like Sumbul has adopted Imlie's character as her own but she needs to understand that Imlie was fictional and Sumbul is a real person. Somehow I feel she has developed Imlie as her alternate personality. I see Imlie in BB and not Sumbul. God only knows what Sumbul is like

Definitely some strategy was planned which backfired very badly.

The father is just trying to protect his daughter's image.
