Even the side characters( the ones who weren't finalists) like Mahira ,Shefali, Bhau, Vishal, Shefali Bagga, Madhurima, heck even Khesari's one liners to Sid, arhan, everyone added flavours. And they had all deserving people in finals barring Arti. Sid, Asim, Rashmi, Shehnaaz, Paras were actually main players of the season.

Can't agree more. It completely depends on the contestants. Paras never backed down in front of Salman and even exposed Sallu's lies. Asim was manipulated umpteen number of times to do friendship with Sid again , they even brought Rohit Shetty for that , but he never did. What crazy contestants we had.
