OK so here is my theory. They wanted Nimrit versus Priyanka and were promoting Shalin and Sumbul. But Nimrit isn't getting the fanbase to push her in finale, so now they are wanting to break Shalin and Sumbul to encourage Sumbul to play alone to create strong rivalry with any of the popular contestant may be Tina who looked insecure today and can have potential rivalry with Sumbul And it can only happen when she gets separated from Shalin. I do feel, they are sidelining Shiv because he wasn't their candidate over bahus and beta ( Tina, Nimrit, Priyanka , Ankit, Sumbul)
