But she's too big of an idiot to realize Shamita suffers from colitis, that's why BB send her gluten-free food. It's not a luxury, but necessity. Afsana & others who don't suffer from colitis can eat other food, but Shamita cannot.
So if BB don't send her gluten-free food, she won't be able to eat anything else.
But sadly Afsana or even people in general have no empathy for her, because she belongs from Shetty family. They even mock her sickness & the fact she had to go to hospital. Sad.
Okay so Shamita has colitis? I would just like to understand a few things and since you seem to know well about this, I hope you can answer my questions.
What food can Afsana eat that Shamita cannot other than grains? Rice is gluten free, I think fruits are too and so are vegetables. So, just food made with grains then? That's it? But every single time that Shamita talks about it, she makes it sound like she will die without her gluten free food and that others have such a luxury if they don't have the same disease as hers. That's not fair.
Afsana isn't saying that BB shouldn't send her gluten-free food. She's saying that when the whole house was deprived of food, why were she and Neha sent their food, just because it was gluten-free? Like normal contestants, they should be kept on the same level as others and deprived of food too. Please tell me if that will worsen her colitis condition? Cuz in a general google search, it has come up that fasting actually improves colitis not worsens it. But then again, you must know better so please let me know.
It isn't because she's from Shetty family but because she pretends like she's the queen of that house that people despise her. Just a simple search I did told me that her condition and especially about food, isn't as serious as is made out to be. That she can very well survive as easily as others but she just makes such a big deal out of it.
And on a parting note, let me flaunt some more gyaan I got from google. Apparently, not everybody with colitis is gluten-intolerant. So, it doesn't come naturally from the fact that she has colitis that she can't have grains, it's because she's just gluten-intolerant that she can't have grains. That's all. There are people who are lactose-intolerant and can't have dairy products but I've never seen such a fuss made out for them. Neither is any special food items sent for them. If this isn't privilege then what is?
