As you don’t get that the abuse happened and you think apology is enough .,. At least that is some progress from first saying there wasn’t even abuse. As I said. I will give it a decade or two to catch up ….

Hello, then why do celebs like Cardi B, Louis CK and Tekashi still have fans despite their known actions? Why are people still watching even though they know Pratik gets benefit by staying in the house? You are not even reading my post properly but quick to dole out emoticons.

Again with the abuse... agree to disagree. Although if i deemed it to be sexual abuse, i wouldn't have watched further *shrugs*

India doesn't need you to give it any time. Majority of the posts here are demeaning Pratik so that means they are aware enough? I am not even from India lol Quit with your Western superiority.

Oh I am sorry, are you are the only in the West? Is there no one else? Hate to break it you but you said the West has zero tolerance and it clearly does not. The world is bigger than you think.

I don't need to justify anything because I don't believe I am watching an abuser get money on a reality tv show. You can do that yourself :)

I did bash every single person that was engaging in or even laughing at such jokes on Rajiv, and in particular - not clocking the abject misery on his face when they were doing so.

Pratik went overboard - not just with the jokes verbally, but with that nasty enactment of shoving a veggie up Rajiv’s butt. Which no one else did - only Pratik. And he did it repeatedly. Same with the jokes, same with the touching - he continued even though Rajiv said no.

Violence in a task is brought about by mindset you say. Ok - I’ll buy that. So all of those that have gotten physical in tasks are violent people by nature. Intentionally. But Pratik’s repeated behaviour and actions in this are motivated by a simple lack of awareness. It’s all unintentional - on his part? No dice.

The content of the jokes matters. The nature of the physical crap Pratik pulled with Rajiv matters. And it’s homophobic. He may not be the only one there who’s homophobic - but his actions tell me that he certainly is among that number. They tell you something different, but I don’t share that opinion.

And even if he wasn’t - as an adult, Pratik shouldn’t need anyone to tell him that at the very least, that veggie shoving enactment he pulled - multiple times - is not funny. It’s not ok to do that to anyone. Homophobic or not - in my book, that is harassment. That is a definite line crossed, and he shouldn’t have needed anyone to tell him that. Especially when he gets triggered by the slightest thing said to him, but doesn’t think others are owed that courtesy.

Pratik has gotten several chances to make mistakes and be given the benefit of the doubt as regards his intentions. I gave him that BOD in the bathroom latch incident myself - that he didn’t intend to perv, he simply doesn’t realize boundaries. But everything cannot be excused with intention nahi tha. This certainly cannot IMO. He bullied, he crossed lines - there was nothing that induced him to do this - he chose to. Intention na hone ka sawaal hi nahi yahaan. His choice - his ownership.

He did that in front of people, no raised a muda; I think maybe one may have just told him to stop. I stand by that the fact the Pratik did not realise the weight of his actions until Rajiv/Salman highlighted it and told him what if someone were to do that to you, is it funny then?

But intention matters because people are calling him an abuser. He did not mean to threaten Rajiv. He did not realise how hurtful that joke is. But good that on this show, he is unlearning certain behaviours and mindset. As a straight man, he thought he was being funny, he didn't have the intention to demean him but now he understands the weight of his actions and won't do it.

Violence is intended because it always preceded with heated arguments where people are swearing and threatening each other with aggression. And then, one finally does it. Umar vs Simba, Karan vs Pratik, who else... It is never preceded by joking around insensitively.

Partik didn't precede his actions with homophobic slurs or comments that's why I give him the benefit of the doubt. BB doesn't show how they made fun of Rajiv as well. Maybe housemates collectively should reconsider what is appropriate or inappropriate before a line is crossed by some dumbass.

"Especially when he gets triggered by the slightest thing said to him, but doesn’t think others are owed that courtesy." P.S. this describes most housemates.

I am not excusing; i simply think calling him a sexual abuser or him harassing Rajiv is unfair. He hurt him with his actions, that's it.

You should stop watching and let BB know on Twitter. Yahan giani ban ke kya hoga. Sexual harassments is a serious issue and if you truly believe Pratik has gotten away scot-free, maybe you should ask yourself why am I still watching and commenting on this cheap show which supports criminals.

Instead, people will be righteous and just type away on forum while still watching the show to just support already rich/famous celebs.

Aur yeh baar baar ho raha hai per your opinion but you keep watching, kya fyada? BB ko kaunsa asar parega, woh bhi TRP ka rahe yeh ki log dekh ke hor baat kar rahe hai :/

And if it was harassment clear-cut, why didn't rest of the housemates speak up? So everyone is complicit in Pratik's harassments.

So if someone is doing illegal things we should close our eyes?

I am saying what is so clear to us may not have clear to the housemates.

None of them realised how wrong and hurtful Pratik’s actions were. Even they were like were not sure of Rajiv would be ok or not until he spoke up.

There was no ill intention among them. That’s all. If someone raised it earlier when they were joking it may not have even come this far.

Pratik kept claiming he had no intention to be hurtful, he had no idea “it was coming across wrongly”, etc etc. I simply don’t buy that. I don’t give an adult the BOD that they don’t know that that veggie enactment - to a gay man - on television - repeatedly despite being told to cease - is hurtful and demeaning. And that you simply don’t do that if you don’t wanna hurt or demean someone.

I’m not saying he sexually abused Rajiv - but to me, that act in and of itself, was him harassing and demeaning Rajiv. He can realize that that was wrong of him and genuinely apologise, sure. But him saying it was all unintentional is what I don’t buy. That excuse is just that now IMO - an excuse. On Pratik’s part.

I’m going to leave it at that, because I think we have a decidedly different view on this and will continue to go around in circles.

they all realized it. And said So on wkv also. Other than shammo who was more worried that Rajiv didn’t tell her. But she even mentioned earlier incidents which she had address with pratik for Rajiv. So this is long ongoing.

And if anything. Pratik ka obsession with these things came out on today’s wkv in terms of what he said to Umar. Enough said.

This is not an isolated incident, but the last straw that overwhelms the camel.

While the above post is clearly spam and fake news / trolling -the last sentence caught my eye.

I agree. For our sanskaree putra. This is not an isolated incident. And wish it was the last straw that led to his eviction. As should have been the case. …
