I just wanted to say I personally thought Karan Johar went a little too overboard with bashing Divya.
I like him and I don't like Divya at all but I still felt one week is too less to make so many judgments and comments about someone like he did, and to praise someone so much (Shamita).
I think the reason for putting down Divya and highlighting Shamti so much is because either makers favour Shamita or either Karan Johar is playing favourites because of nepotism.
Out of all the backbiting and bitching that went down the whole week, they only decided to out Divya and Raqesh because it makes Shamita look good. Calling out the BFF comment again and again which majority of the viewers didn't even give a shit about and then calling Divya 'home wrecker' (she didn't even want to be called that) was to make it seem like Divya is the villain and Shamita is the victim.
They chose to focus on the invisible Raqesh because again it makes Shamita look like a bechari.
Shamita also spoke behind Divya's back but somehow that it not bitching but discussion according to Karan Johar? They wanted a FULL Shamita VS Divya angle to continue and eventually work in the favour of their chosen one aka Shamita.
