I see people are hating bb14 but I love it! I don't think it's scripted for the exact reason but only may be some manipulation and favoritism for trp. I watched bb 2 or 3 when younger and never followed other seasons. A week back one of the episodes caught my fancy and here I am!
Currently, bb is a real-life visual of a typical classroom. The Rubina group is a gang of bullies. Nikki (Abhinav threatened her directly), then Rahul, and Eijaz has been their softest target right from the start. Rubina hates him for the difference in perceived stature. Nikki vs Eijaz is the best example of dealing with bullies. Nikki laughs at them, ignores them, and makes them look foolish, riles them up. Eijaz is too straight forward, gets affected since he tries to make them see his point and be friends- they won't.
As Eijaz said, Rubina is the alpha, she never attacks directly. Uses Jasmine/Abhinav to target. It's playground politics. Jasmine is the beta, the most verbal and physical, the way Rubina egged her onto Rahul. Nishant is the brawn - yes man who doesn't do much but he makes the group look strong and also adds to the numbers. Naina is also kinda with them, she seems a bit smarter though. She stood up to the beta, will have to wait and watch if she goes against the alpha in the future
Kavita wants to be part of the 'visible' gang but couldn't and the drama yesterday was to jump groups. Pity her, it comes from a place of inferiority complex. terrible mindset though, whatever may be the trigger, for humiliating Eijaz with below the belt remarks about their equation outside and his lack of friends. She's aware of what hurts him most and used that against him. Very crass!
But, Eijaz is rare. We can find multiple Rubinas, Nikkis, Rahuls, and jasmins around us. This guy is capable of kindness even when cornered, even with his bullies. He's a bit eccentric and flawed but it's the ones that are different that are the gems among us, just need a different lens to understand them.
