most of the contestants except few are worked with the channel, their journey in BB depends on how much they contribute towards BB, footage depends on the content, so content is the key factor not so-called being favourite

This is what I think...that they favor Rashmi and not Sid.....but Sid is giving them TRPs .

Shukla was powerful.

Because he presented the image of the hero. He has done a few shows on the channel, and everywhere he portrayed this persona of well-built and well-dressed guy with an aura of confidence and masculine authority.

So he predictably found himself in the Bigg Boss's hero narrative too, and was pushed forward through support from all sides, be it makers, guests or influencers. The scales were tipped in his favour because he was the protagonist.

The bias became obvious when he exposed his personality. The abusive, violent, immature and insensitive guy who found the idea of doing house chores hilarious, along with taking a bath and changing clothes, no longer appeared to be the winner.

Now Manisha is a speculation. If that does not hold true in relation to the favourism, then the other reason could be his massive fan following. Apparently people love mysoginistic and aggresive men on national television because they are 'real'.

Currently, he is no longer powerful. The bias is so blatant that it is working against him. The underdog is emerging as the real hero, because even if one ignores all the great attributes of Asim, atleast he is educated and civilized enough to apologise for his mistakes.

Shukla was never powerful. He just had a bunch of people behind his back, encouraging the sh*t he graced the audience with!
