Lol...i don't watch BB, and haven't watched the clip either, but how is calling someone fixed deposit abusive??? It's like a metaphor, like we call people safety net or sounding board etc. Just means they r their support system or in this case, the one person for Sid, who will always support him, when none do, just like how fixed deposit is seen as that backup that one can help you in times of need.

Though I'm a Sana fan, I do defend all the women in the house when their being character assassinated. But after seeing SK do literally NOTHING after the Rashmi incident, I gave up on justice and BB being in the same sentence.

As for fixed deposit, 1) it's not a bad word and has no other meaning. 2) Arti has been Shukla's doormat from day 1. 3) She is also his back up and secure option that he continues to invest in.

Hi so Since this has become such a huge issue, and apparently Fixed Deposit has some bad meaning- I decided to google non monetary/Slang meanings for it.

The only Non Monetary meanings I could find were Safety Net, reliable!

So I have no idea what the whole hublahoo over being called a fixed deposit is!

I mean don’t we all those of you who aren’t studying or your parents keep saving some money and getting a FD, coz tomorrow at an hour when you need it- you can always cash in on it! Isn’t it one of the most secure and reliable financial dealings in the world?

So if Asim actually called Arti - Shukla’s FD what’s wrong in that. Isn’t she? He can ignore her for a long time ( like you do forget about your FD in the bank) and then he goes back to her when he needs her( just like you when break your FD or partially withdraw some money).

I mean- this is one I simply do not get. Not at all. How fixed deposit in the house can be taken in the wrong sense. I would love for someone to explain to me in what context does it sound wrong? Like seriously!

Also- for those who’ll bring in that Asim called Shefali J’s husband Nalla- well ofcourse Asim was wrong in that and has no right dragging her husband in that at all.

Why the uproar? Its a better word than doormat anyway. Its actually perfect because Shukla ne thoda attention dia and then left her to do whatever she wants. But she is forever his in the show and whatever may happen she will be there for him after he has lost all his other sakhis.
