I really don't understand it too but I think its mostly 3 big reasons:

1. Looks. People are blinded by good looks. Shukla and Bhau were the same age. If Shukla looked like Bhau, he would be long gone! All the Sana scenes would register differently for people and even the violence would be less acceptable I think.

but yes i agree with you. people think shukla is good looking....i will admit i did too at the beginning. but his attitude, behaviour, his lack of personal hygiene makes him disgusting now.

2. Salman. Salman's crazy andhbhakt fans take his opinions (which are really the makers' opinions) as gospel. So, if he says Shukla is right, then jo bhee ho, Shukla is right. This is even true for YouTube reviewers lol. I've heard the Bollywood Spy guy literally say the following words almost verbatim: "Ab yeh sahi thah ya galat? Dekhte hai bhaijaan Salman kya kehtehai. Mujhe lagta hai shayad Paras galat hua hoga, lekin ab Saturday dekhenge" 😆 Ab reviewer ka critical thinking skills zero hai toh average audience ka kya hoga lol this guy is an idiot and likes to kiss salman's ass

This is a 16 + show .. at late night hour .. there are many unseen I dekha videos on net where people reminiscing past playing games .. it is up to the channel to show what they want to show .. she Sid n sana are playing bedroom games ( many couples do play these games grow up ) asim and Rashmi must be playing antakshari or dozing away .. it is up to the channel to gauge where they are getting trp ..if a late night slot is getting plus trp with sidnaaz then they will show sidnaaz .. because there moralistic serials in other time slots has ruined the channel .

viewership has totally changed with web series , Netflix if earlier fans of Bigg boss are finding it tasteless they can switch .
this is not meant for school kids ..or high moral people ..

there is a rural urban crowd which enjoys this bedroom games and Colors is catering to it ..

that crowd is not spending time on Twitter and India forums ..

and colors is bothered about them because they switch on the tv and give trp .. wake up

but after seeing him in BB13 i have realized that he is a bag full of garbage

And how do you assume who my favs are? Just because I am anti shukla doesnt imply I am pro asim or rashmi.

I dont have any favs, nor do I care if any member says anything about any housemate. I watch the show for pure entertainment and thats it.

I don't care what ppl say about rashmi, asim, sana, shukla....they are not important in my life.

Just like you are entitled to your own opinion so are all other viewers. They like what they like 🤷🏻‍♀️
