Then

Then u should see on YouTube !!

People absolutely love Sid ..

and Sid wins polls hands down, no one is even is closer to him there .. The votes r in lacs there.

It’s just what we want to believe is true.

Sid is by far the most popular contestant and loved by the mass .. I like him with the flaws .. no where I say he’s any doodh k dula and I make it v clear not one person in the house is a saint ! Not Rashmi not asim not Sana ..

I have my win reasons for liking Sid !

And it’s not fair to take it away from him that he’s the most popular one and is trending with close to 4 million tweets today

I think the people on IF do represent the BB general audience. This might differ to most people’s thoughts but I think IF is probably the most accurate representation of what the audience actually thinks.

On IF it’s very unlikely that a PR account is going to come & post to make a celeb look good because it’s just a small number. Whereas Twitter, YouTube, Facebook etc.. are the places where PR activities happen the most.

One of the reasons why I like IF too is that I think quite a handful of people here are not like the immature fans out on Twitter/FB. Most people have a strong opinion & they refuse to turn a blind eye to the things that would simply not be acceptable in the real world i.e bullying, sl*t-shaming, violence etc..

In India, people may idolise & think behaviour like Kabir Singh/Shukla is normal/okay. If this is the case, then I hope the mindsets change soon because it is nothing more than a loss to the society/people who have to deal with people like them.

Exactly! ... I used twitter example since that's the most discussed on the forum. But it applies to all SM sites. PR activity is present on platforms ... Ofc not saying that Shukla has no fans. I am sure he does but not to the extent of what is being portrayed. His fanbase is a fusion of his fans and PR work! Someone of his stature has to have a good PR. And he's had it for years so they know how he functions and what needs to be done to clear him off his negative image! ... And they have managed to do so since clearly there's a section who take him as a righteous being () while he's far from it!

Back to the point, like you said IF is the only place that hasn't been infiltrated much with his PR .... There are genuine members who have been here for years - BB fans than particular celeb's fan! (-have witnessed it myself last few months)

.. And like Femmefatale mentioned 100 people from different parts of the world with different thought process yet they have a universal common ground - Principles and Morality! .. Reason why forum is majorly against Shukla, it speaks volume since this place is a "random pool of individuals"!

So even if this forum represents 0.1% of population it can easily be extrapolated to general audience (-basic statistics)! I mean that's how surveys work - they target random group of people and their thoughts/opinions/feedback are taken into consideration for a bigger chunk of population!

All in all, this forum speaks a lot more for mass than any other SM platforms! .. [Thanks for adding more to my train of thought, it gave more clarity to the point I was making :)]!

IF is like extended family of desai and asim, the thing u can expect from them is rants like Biased BB, worst winner, fixed winner etc and that to on daily basis, best way to deal with them is ignore them 😂 winner will be decided on the basis of votes, 50-100 logo ke bolne se kuch fark nahi padna chahiye logo ko 😂 unka opinion unka hai sabka nahi, majority ka opinion matters.

Even if general BB audience loves Shukla, there is nothing to be proud about it. It only shows how much we need to grow as a person. That we go on supporting an MCP like Shukla who abuses people, talks trash about women, manhandles them and can't even take slight criticism.

As for social media representing general BB audience, Twitter polls and trends, Facebook, YouTube comments etc mean nothing.

Bani in season 10 too was also winning all the polls and was trending in Twitter all the time. Even on IF she used to win all the polls despite having a lot of negativity against her. People were sure that she'll win whether it'll be through votes or the biasedness of Bigg Boss.

Still she ended up being being a runner-up to Manveer who was a commoner. Maybe Bigg Boss rigged the votes to promote the commoner theme. But if they can do that then there is no point in fighting over this scripted show.

Ormax too isn't reliable. Those who have seen their list of Bollywood actors and actresses will know how far is their list from ground reality because box office collections speak a different language.

So I have been thinking for a while looking twitter trends, fluctuations, poll results, PR, bots - Looking at all of these I have concluded that our forum opinion is also that of the general audience's opinion!

This forum is more anti-Shukla than pro ... Many have tried hard to portray how opinions on this forum aren't reflection of the real world hence tried to downplay it, but I HIGHLY disagree!

Few reasons why!

- Most poll results on twitter have Asim and Shukla neck to neck - Now Sid definitely has hired a PR, every celebrity of his stature will have a good PR and Ofc PR is used to feed the audience in terms of articles, twitter trends etc the type of image they want to reflect or to downplay one's negative side! ... Now if there's PR, twitter will most definitely have bots and new accounts in favor of Shukla. While Asim is a newbie, he doesn't have the power nor means to hire a decent PR. So even after PR and bots, many polls are neck to neck with Asim! = Conclusion - Even general audience is more anti-Shukla!

[Also I am not saying Asim twitter trends means million fans since most of these trends are done with multiple tweets .... But surely not heavy on bots like that of Shukla's!] ....

- Secondly, there are many like me who went in the show liking Shukla from his previous show .... Ofc we TRIED, TRIED hard to like him, but his real personality is way too repulsive to like him beyond few days or weeks .... You can't bear him more than that looking at how filthy and a downright low life he is. A lot of audience are fans of BB more than celebrities so when they are challenged with liking someone like Shukla, Mahira, Paras (----------- down in the gutter level morality) vs others (-various spectrum of morality, some huge ++++ and some +++--- while some +---), you're bound to shift towards those who may have flaws but aren't as immoral as Sid, Mahira or Paras whom majority of this forum detest!

Point that I am trying to make is to REFUTE the usual claim made "some" on this forum how "this forum doesn't reflect the real world" than get into minute details of back and forth!

In my highly opinion and many weeks of analysis/observation, I have come to conclusion that this forum is a sub-pool of the real world pool and opinions discussed here DO REFLECT the real world! (-Anyone who's knowledgeable about statistics will agree how data of a small random pool can be used to extrapolate for a bigger sized pool, and this forum is as random as it can get)!

.... Even if Shukla wins, it still won't negate what I have concluded here since PR, bots and Ofc colors (lol). With money/connections/power you can tilt the balance in your favor. Only have to witness if general audience "stick by stick" can fight against this titled balance!

Ofc, this is my analysis and I stand by it. You can disagree all you like but I am going to stand by my analysis/views to consider this forum a reflection of the real world. Thank you for reading! ⭐️

No it is not.

Here people are taking show too seriously.

This is an entertainment show to earn money.

It is not reality. It is edited reality.

Housemates are not behaving normally, they are away from society, friends, family.. And they are forced to stay, talk, play with ppl whom they hdon't like.

But here ppl want them to behave normally.

Other than few ppl. Most of us here are ppl who want to show fake intelligence. Or don't have much work to do and like bitching. Or running from the goal of our lives. First we watch stupid show and then waste more time in discussion and Criticising our non-fav.

Most of the audience watches lightly, laughs, talks two three lines with family and sleeps.

This forum doesn't represent general audience.

But it is a sub pool which is different than general audience.

(don't take personally.)

Well said.

Earlier Twitter was nice.

Now it is has majority of stupid ppl. Plus PR, marketing. And celeb sells to do tweeting. And it is used for brain bashing. I never believe in any of those trends.

But we can get opinions and information from many places so it is good. But it doesn't prove much.

For audience, it is entertainment show.

General audience, doesn't waste so much time in discussing this show.

My mother watches with me. Sometimes she does one or two comments. And then whole day we don't even talk abt this show.

But I come here and waste time by reading, writing. And I feel bad also that I waste time 😳 I think most of the audience is not similar to forum junta. They don't waste time like us. And don't do collective bitching. They enjoy or switch off the TV.

Those people who think forum doesn't represent real world at all......why are they worried about it is what I don't understand. If it's dt insignificant .....den ignore it and don't care. But instead they come and say how insignificant the forum and it's members's opinions are.

Second thing.....forum might not be a majority but it still represents a whole lot of people who can see beyond the looks and charms of certain "famous" people who are zero when it comes to being human or having any sort of manners and appreciable qualities.
