Now having considered everything, I think it's because they both are alike. Asim is just a younger version of Sidharth shukla.
1. They both can't accept their mistakes. Big problem for both of them. We all know Sid thinks he's always Right. But So do Asim.
2. Sid told to arti, "You warned me to Stay away from Sana. Now I m away from her, you are all friendly with her. "
Asim to Sid, "You first Said that I don't like my friend's talking to others, Now you are all pally with Devo nd all. "
3. Both have big ego's.
4. Both are so hyper when someone is trying to put some sense in them.
5. Both preach about Real connections, that they made 👏
In reality, Sid trusted Asim and Bhau in matter of Arti and Sana. He didn't even once tried to talk to them regarding it.
Asim trusted Himanshi over his friend Sana from past days and didn't even wanted to clarify once. Even as Arti said to him clean the bedroom, he thinks she is changing 😒 . Did he forget his friendship in one go.
6. Both need attention. They need people to follow them. Sid had arti and Sana following him, asim didn't get that much attention from them. Now he got that attention from shefali and Himanshi. So he is more interested in sitting with them. Both wants to be Leader's, who want people do whatever they say.
7. Both thinks other person is changing.
So they are too much same. In some parallel universe, they might be a match made in heaven, but in reality their combination isn't good. Because in reality in any relationship/friendship you need two people who compliment each other,Where one person fills out for other person's lack. Sid Vs Asim is inevitable! It was going to happen at some stage. Even after today's fight, if they sort out,still they are gonna fight at some other stage.
