Sree has on multiple occasions insulted and berated Dipika yet she continues to chase after him, cry and beg. True that every bond is not blood made but the way she is affected by him is certainly not mark of a normal self respecting individual.

Lastly their interactions show some level of hesitance from both sides. Eg. when Sree called her babe, you could see she was worried of how her family would take it and stopped it immediately. He constantly compares anything she does to his wife and they make special effort to bring in their spouses during any interaction. Yes eating from the plate and same cup of tea is weird, who does that DAILY? There is an awkwardness in their interactions that suggests they know theyre being weird.

Trust me if this label was not on them, i guarantee you people would question their interaction and that is why they ensure behen bhai is repeated every episode. Its not that Romil and Somi's interactions seemed bad so their family questioned them, its because they did not put a label. Otherwise sorry but the level Sree gets jealous and so did Dipika when he made more behens is suggestive but their families want to save face so they wont blast them on national tv like the common man would.
