one thing is it has to do with criteria with which BB chooses contestant which has alot to do with where they get max viewership from ..

I m not sure of the reason...but Not because they have their regional version of Bigg boss, as these versions started a year or two years earlier..nor they dont watch Hindi bigg boss...there are many fans for this show from south India too, as far as I know.
Also, not all South Indians hate Hindi or anything like that...Ofcourse there will be slight language barrier. But that doesnt mean you cannot manage. Foreigners manage, right.
And I believe the production house would have done their research. In another point of view, regional versions may gain more viewership comparitively and ofcourse more money and business to them.😛

But I totally agree, all this region card etc. is just bogus nonsense!

Yeah Not all South Indian hate Hindi. Some do, for weird reasons. As a Central Indian, I don't have any hate for any language soo I don't understand "hate" for any language from people. Well that's another view.

Actually My best friend is from South India, he knows only 20% Hindi and always speaks in Telugu-English-Little Bit Hindi...and He loves Hindi, Hindi movies everything...so yeah not everyone from South hates Hindi. 😳

When you ask a south indian to talk in hindi and not english, most will start to oppose right then and there. Immaterial to which field they belong to. They say you can't force Hindi on us. and to top it, they all have their own BB in native languages. So, yes, I don't think they are interested to participate in Hindi BB and even if they come, It might be possible that even when BB asks housemates to speak in Hindi only and not english, they may not like that.
BB represents entertainment. People do speak like how Deepak is seen talking now in BB. Its purely genuine not made up like how celebrities behave from day 1.

Who said south indians dont watch hindi bigg boss??
I dont think they had auditions for south indians at all.

I am glad atleast one celeb contestant is from south india this time

On the other hand I don't think people from southern region would prefer to speak Hindi for 3.5 mnths straight.

Didn't we had a punjabi woman from canada last year. I am sure we probably had more punjabi's settled in Delhi/Mumbai in BB previous seasons.
