Avantika:No wayzz bhabhi..Aap mujhe Avi pukaar sakte hai..Mujhe Chutki bikul bhi pasand nahin hai..

Bharti:Ok Avi..

Avantika:Geeta bhabhi,jaldi kee jiye na..

Armaan:Waise Chutki,kya badbadhaa rahi thi tum khaate waqt tumhari bhabhi ke saath?

Bharti:Woh..

Avantika:Woh ek raaz hai!!Waise,achi romance picture chal rahi thi na,kyun bhaiyya?

Armaan:Nahin toh..

Avantika:Haan theekh hi toh hai..Picture toh shuru hone se pehle bohat zyaada interruptions ho gaya tha na?

Armaan:Badmaash kahi ki!!

Geeta:Avi,tum khilaao..

Avantika:Bhabhi,aap khilaayiye na..

Geeta:Theekh hai main devar-ji ko khilaa thi hoon aur tum Bharti ko khilaa denaa..

Armaan:Yeh kya hai bhabhi?

Armaan:Thanks bhabhi..

Avatika:Aur yeh aapke liye,bhabhi..(Fed kheer to Bharti)Ok,rasam toh khatam ho gayi hai..Aap dono jaa sakte ho..(Bharti,Armaan and Jiya waved goodbye and left in Armaan's car)

After some time,Payal called Bharti on her mobile.Bharti had a smile on her face as she picked up the call.

Bharti:Hey babez..

Payal:Bhaskar..Kya kar rahe ho?

Bharti:Well,ghar aa raha hoon..I mean,aa rahi hoon..

Payal:Aa rahi hoon?Koi hai kya tumhare saath?

Bharti:Armaan aur Jiya..

Payal:Ohh..Wait,tum apne ghar aa rahe ho?You mean,apne Maa aur Bauji ko..

Bharti:Haan Payal(feeling irritated)..Tumhe kitne baar samjhaana padega?Koi rasam hai..

Payal:Paag phere..

Bharti:Haan wohi wohi..Waise tumhe yeh sab kaise pata chalta hai?

Payal:Serials aur khud ki knowledge..Kal main bhi toh shaadi karungi..

Bharti:Tumse shaadi kaun karega?

Bharti:Nahin,aisi baat nahin hai..I mean,koi bakra ko pakadna padega na shaadi karne ke liye..

Payal:Very funny,Bhaskar..Tumse zyaada ache ladke ke saath shaadi karungi..Dekh lena..

Bharti:Acha?Lekin mujhe nahin lagta ki woh ho paayega..

Payal:Kyun?

Bharti:Mujhse zyaada acha insan iss duniya mein hain hi nahin..

Payal:Actually ek banda tha,jisse tumne shaadi kiya tha..Mr Armaan Sinha,but sadly he's tkaen..

Bharti:Tum agar chaho toh..

Payal:Rehne do Bhaskar...I don't eye guys who's tkaen..Except for one guy!!

Bharti:Kaun?Koi hai kya?Ashish?

Payal:Bhaskar,just shut up..Jaldi ghar aa jao,i'll wait for you!!(hung up)

Bharti:Sunn..Payal!!(hung up and smiled)Mere phone hamesha aise hi kaat deti hai..

Armaan:So,what's going on between the two of you?

Bharti:Kuch zyaada khas nahin..Just something usual between us,you know..Girl stuff!!(let out a deep sigh of relief)

Armaan:Great..And i thought i'll get to hear some girly gossip..

Bharti:Armaan,Payal and I don't gossip..

Armaan:Rightt..And i thought all girls lurve gossip..

Bharti:Payal and I are totally differnet from all the other girls..And i don't ever need another friend in my life for Payal is a true friend who's always there for me..Aise dost toh kismat se milti hai!!(smiled widely)

Armaan:Hhmm...

Bharti:Waise Armaan,tumhr toh bohat saare dost honge na?

Armaan:Bohat saare hai jo kareeb nahin hai..Just professional contacts..Par maine ek dost ko paaya hai jo kismat se mere patni ban chuki hai..(gently touched her fingers but Bharti withdrew her fingers from his and tuned away and blushed)

Bharti:Saamne dekh kar gaadi chalaao..Jiya??She fell asleep??

Armaan:She usually does,during long journeys..And especially to soothing music..

Bharti:Hhmm..Armaan,i don't know if I should ask..

Armaan:What is it Bharti?

Bharti:I know it's personal but how come you didn't mention anything about your family before?

Armaan:It's quite a boring sa story and I don't wish to bore you..

Bharti:I won't be bored,I can surely promise you that..

Armaan:Ok,then listen at your own risk..Well,you've met my family members..Me,Omkar bhaiyya,Chutki,Bauji,Maa and Radha bua..Actually my thought differ from Bauji's all the time since young..When i was about 17,I didn't want to further my studies..I'd rather travel and get a degree in Photography..You can ask Omkar bhaiyya;he did always support me and always kept in touch with me and always tried to pester me to come back home especially after what had happened in my life..But i didn't wish to see Bauji who always taunted me for whatever I did..But Omkar bhaiyya was always there to support me and back me up..I kinda ran away from home for good with the help of Omkar bhaiyya..But i'm just surprised of only one thing--Omkar bhaiyya had never hidden anything from me but a very big matter,that is his marriage with Geeta bhabhi..I mean,that's really a huge shock for me..I just don't understand!!

Bharti:(mumbled to herself)Even i don't get it..How can Geeta marry someone like Omkar after what I've done to her..I wonder what had gone into her!!

Armaan:Did you say something??

Bharti:No...nothing!!And i didn't know that you had a pretty huge past!!

Armaan:I know;it's quite boring..

Bharti:Actually,I can relate to that,for I had run away from home too..I meant Bhaskar..Well,it's all for a good cause..And look,here we are...

Armaan:Home Sweet Home!!

Bharti:You've got no idea!!!

Armaan simply smiled as he parked his car in the car park while bharti carried a sleeping Jiya with her.

Armaan:Do you want me to carry her?

Bharti:Stop being a gentleman,for God's sake Armaan...

Armaan:Yeh main kaise bhool sakta hoon..Get in(both of them got inside the lift)

Bharti:What are you looking at?

Armaan:Nothing...I can't wait to meet your parents..I mean,Bhaskar's parents..For a second,i just feel as if I've just gotten married to Bhaskar!!

Bharti:What?!

Armaan:What's wrong with you?It's just weird that I'm meeting Bhaskar's parents instead of your's..(Bharti grinned sheepishly)Actually,where's your family??

Bharti:Actually na,Armaan..(The lift door opened)Phew!!I mean,we're here already!!Chalo...(rushed out first)

The door was already opened.Payal shouted for Sudha and she stopped Bharti from entering first.Payal asked Bharti to wait and took Jiya from Bharti's arm and helped to lay Jiya in Bharti's room.Sudha came in time and did a pooja with the thaali she was carrying.Bharti smiled at Sudha who placed a theekha on Armaan's and Bharti's forehead and allowed Armaan to enter first followed by Bharti,who was quite surprised.

Bharti:Arre wah Maa..Aapke daamaad kya aagaya,aapne toh muhe bhool hi gaye..Lo,main toh Payal ke paas jaati hoon..(Armaan was amused by Bharti's behaviour)

Armaan smiled and took the blessings of Sudha and Bhaskar's Bauji(LN).Both of them and Nanhe were equally excited to meet him.They invited him to sit down.

Armaan:Bauji,main aapse shama chahtha hoon..Uss din jo office mein hua tha,parcel ko leke..Woh sach mein maine nahin kee hai..Uss din jab maine Bharti ko dekha tha office mein,toh maine woh parcel cancel kiya tha..Woh shayad kisi ar ne beja hoga..I'm sorry!!

Nanhe:(whispered)Tayyiji,kaunsa parcel?

Sudha:Arre Nanhe,woh main tujhe baad mein dikhaongi..Armaan beta,Bharti ko khush dekh kar mujhe sach much sukoon mehsoos huyi hain..Humare liye toh Bhaskar marchuka hain au khs kar jo kuch bhi Bharti ke saath usne kiya tha uske baad,hum dono ne milkar faisla kiya tha ki ab humaari khushi sirf Bharti ke khushi mein hain..

Armaan:Maa,aap befikr rahiye..Bharti ko main hamesha khush rakhungi..Aur yeh ek choti si tohfa hain aap dono ke liyre..Aap manaa matt kahiye..

Sudha:Par beta...

Armaan:Beta bhi bol rahe ho aur aap manaa kar rahe ho?

Sudha:Theekh

ai,manaa nahin karungi par ek choti si shart hai..Tumhe aaj raat yaha ruknaa hoga..

Armaan:Pakka!!(smiled as Sudha kissed Armaan's forehead)

Nanhe:Waise jeejaaji..

Armaan:Ermm Nanhe,tum mujhe aise matt pukarna...

Nanhe:Toh main Armaan bhaiyya bulaa sakta hoon?

Armaan:Haan,yeh theekh rahega..

Nanhe:Main bas abhi aata hoon...(headed to the kitchen while Armaan headed to see the rooms)

Bharti:Payal,he just asked me about my family yaar..

Payal:Toh tumne kya jawab diya?

Bharti:Arre maine kuch nahin kaha hai ab tak..

Payal:Hhmm..

Bharti:Hhmm kya?Kuch soch mere liye..

Payal:Tum..

Bharti:Payal,mujhe Armaan se jhoot nahin bolna hai..

Armaan:Aur tum kyun jhoot bologe?

Bharti:Armaan??Hehe,main toh bas aise hi..(looked to Payal for help)

Payal:Woh kya hain na Armaan,Bharti mujhse abhi abhi keh rahi thi ki tum uske family ke baarein mein pooch rahe th..Actually baat yeh hai ke..(paused for a while to cook up an excuse)Ke Bharti bechaari anaath hai..Uski parents ek accident mein..

Bharti:Kya??(Payal cleared her throat and indirectly gestured Bharti to start crying)

Armaan:Par..

Payal:Par Bharti yeh baat sirf mujhse kahi hai aur ab jab tum Bharti ke pati ho toh,tumhe bhi yeh sab jaanne ki haqq hain..

Bharti:Actually Armaan,sach yeh hai ki..Meri koi nahin hain aur iss liye main anaath hoon..Jab bhi koi mere parvaar ke baarein mein pooch tha hai toh hum dono yehi accident ko saath jod they hai..

Armaan:Bharti,phir se jhoot?

Bharti:I'm really sorry,Armaan..(Payal glared at her in irritation)

Payal:Well,you know aadat se majboor..(Payal saw Armaan looking at her and she stopped joking)Ok,we're both sorry..We've gotten used to lying so much that..

Armaan:That you're getting used to it?

Payal:Well,i just did it for bhas..I mean,Bharti's sake..I want her to feel happy,thinking that she had someone before declaring her as an orphan..She's always upset when anyone asks her about her family..(Armaan just looked at Bharti intently)

Armaan:Payal..(smiled and looked towards the kitchen hall)

Payal:Alright,alright i get it..I'm leaving but you two better head to the dining table quickly..(left from there to help Sudha serve the dinner)

Bharti:(saw Armaan giving her a look,making her feel uncomfy)Ok look she lied for my sake.Alright,i've got no one in life except for myself..No one at all except for Payal &...Bhaskar!!And throughout my life,i've not trusted a single person for everytime i begin to like or love something,it gets away from me and i've stopped believing in anyone..Payal is always there for me and hence i shar everything with her..For me,she's my family and i don't mind if she were to lie for me,for my happiness..And no one can ever take the place of Payal in my life..(paused for quite some time)Excuse me!!

Armaan held Bharti's wrist and tried to stop her from leaving but Payal and Nanhe came in the nick of time and Armaan let go of Bharti's wrist.Bharti went to talk to Sudha and Jiya.Nane,Armaan,Jiya and Bauji sat down while Bharti,Payal and Sudha kept the food on the table.Sudha was about to serve the food but Bauji stopped her and looked at Bharti.

LN:Bharti..

Bharti:Haan,Bauji?(served food on her's and Payal's plates)

LN:Aaj tum sabko khaana parosoge..

Bharti:Kya?(dropped the ladle that she had held in her hand)

Sudha:Haan,kyun nahin?(Payal pressed her lips and suppressed her laughter,nudging Bharti who glared at her in irritation)

Bharti:Actually Bauji,aap log khud kyun nahin paros lete?Hhmm..Self-service??(Jiya giggled in amusement)

Payal:Actually Bharti se behthaar idea hai mere paas..Armaan ki grihapravesh hua hai iss ghar mein..Toh kyun ns wohin aapko khaana paros le??(Bharti bursted out laughing and had a Hi-5 moment with Payal but both of them kept quiet upon seeing the stern look on LN's face)

LN:Chup!!Ek mard se aurat ka kaam karwaaoge tum dono?

Bharti:Bauji...ss mein aurat waala kya kaam hai?Aur Maa ghar par nahin hoti hai toh kya aap bhooke rahenge??I mean,aap bhi toh apne plate mein khaana paros sakte hain na?

Nanhe:Lekin Tayyiji toh hamesha ghar par hoti hain..

Payal:Chup kar!!(looked at Nanhe and placed her finger on her lips,gesturing to him to keep quiet)Main paros leti hoon..(whispered to Bharti)"Dude,ab yeh saara tamaasha karne ki waqt bilkul bhi nahin hai..Mere peit mein chuhe daud rahi hain..So please!!"

Sudha:Haan,main bhi madat karti hoon..Chalo!!(Armaan looked at Bharti and realized that she was quite mad at him but just smiled at Sudha as she served him food)

Nanhe:Tayyiji..(whispered to Sudha)Aap hamesha apne pati ki baat kyun maan the rehte ho?Agar nahin maan liya hota,toh aaj aap Bharti didi ke tarha bindaas hoti..

Sudha:(whispered back)Chup kar,badmaash!!Aur khaana khaao warna tumhara khaana cheen lega koi aur tumhe khabar tak nahin hoga..(saw Bharti trying to snatch a piece of his chicken fry)

Nanhe:Aha,pakad liya didi..

Bharti:Uffo Maa,aap hi na..

Sudha:Yeh lo,tum mere hisse ki khaao..Tum bhi na,bilkul Bhask...(Bharti saw Sudha's smile having faded and looked at Payal and gestured her to talk to Sudha)
